I also received an email today and I am sure all people who donated would get one too. I guess maybe we leave this matter to the family, whoever on here wanted to donated would have done so.

I currently do not have any share in VAL but I will sometime monitor this share and may buy in again if the time is right. About this VAL401, this is my general comment about this compound:
1) I do not believe for a second we have to wait for Suzi to come back for any deal to go ahead. The compound does not solely belong to her and as a company it should always business as usual and let be honest about this, if the deal is that critical and important then I am Suzi would be happy to pop into the office for discussions...
2) I once wrote off VAL401, and not just me the market wrote off too, from the results you would not be able to say if it was any good and the market reflected that. But by somehow ValSeek announced that some parties were interested to take it further, so not sure further tests in phase 2 or straight to phase 3, this will come out from the deal if it will ever happen. For the me it was a great news because VAL was exhausted and if no one touch the compound then it would very much on the shelf again for many more years like before. Even if ValSeek finally announce a deal sometime in the future, I do not think VAL would gain anything immediately from the deal. If anything then it would be in the future.

In the meantime all the best to the current holders. Your best hope in near future is still VAL201.

29/07/2019, I decided it was time I had to get rid all of VAL shares after 9 years of following this share so I sold all and it returned just over £700 from the original value of nearly £13K and I also sold all shares in XTR, I put all the monies from the sells into EUZ and up to now it is 120% in profit. I am not telling people to put money into EUZ because this is AIM, we don't really know and luck must play a part in this market. But what I am trying to say is that over many years I wanted to move away from VAL but reluctant to sell because what if a massive deal was coming....so this thinking kept stopping me away from VAL but I reached to the point of "enough is enough" and it was time to look around....then you heard many people had lost loads of money in bio tech sector. I wish all the best for people who still hold this share in VAL. All the best.

If my memory is still working properly (well I am still under 50 and working at the moment) then I guess you used to invest in VAL years ago and and as recently as XTR...I jumped in here about 3 weeks ago. All the best.

I never have an a twitter account and I never read what people commented on twitter. I don't think they know more than people on here, only amateurs would take what people say on twitter. We only need luck, especially in AIM market...very unpredictable....

I donated some money to toward the fund for his children today (sorry, I hid my truth identity, no need to share) even I was always on his opposite side, the reason I was always against most of his posts because I didn't want to see many people losing money from his posts and for himself too. I was a victim of that nice and convincing writing when Stach from nowhere came long to this share years ago introduced himself as an expert in the field, I listened to him and put a lot of money into this share, then for long period when the share was not doing well and I started to attack Stach at every opportunity to vent my anger but in recent years we have been on normal term again...and of course his posts are a lot better than before...All the best.

Quite sad to learn JG passed away, I was probably the only one or very few holders who held shares in this company but was always on his opposite side. I think he was misled by the company so a lot of his comments were untruth or inaccurate, it was almost like he was part of the inner circle of the company. I said few times that if anyone listened to his advice would be in deep red.

But one thing I have to agree is that he liked to talk about the science and a decent person. I wish the VAL bod read some of the posts from forsight to realise how much this share affected his wife and family deeply.

I still cannot understand how the CEO can pay herself £240K a year when the company doing badly, that amount of salary/bonus is not a lot if the company doing well. The thing I am upset most is this statement "...the Company continues to carefully manage its working capital position...", they should have done that years ago and not in the last 1-2 months.

...this is the first time I see few days of continuous sp raising with very little ramping, maybe it is a good sign and you cannot say the latest deal was any bad, most of the deals before was always XTR taking the hit rather than the other party. I have lost almost £50K on this share and I will need this sp to go up around 35p for just for me to recover my losses but I guess it won't happen but it is good for new joiners...

He was right to say you should be responsible for your own investment. Sometime ago I mentioned on here that I managed to recoup my losses in VAL and in a way it did not sound very nice but as you are now in the same position as I was in 5-6 year ago( but at that time it was not this worst) and if you have a chance to take back your money in this company then I am sure you would not hesitate to do so...BTW, in general I have lost around £150K in AIM investment/trading over more than 10 years...

Just like to add to this thread, you cannot expect a company to hold its value if people keep suspecting the next placing is just around the corner. Just this year and only half alone they have done at least 3 placings and + bad deal, and by the look of it we will see at least 1-2 more placings by the end of this year. So just imagine this same pattern has been occurring year after year for over many years, it makes you wonder why it keeps losing the value. It is just pure worst financial management I have ever seen.

Pay in shares is better than in cash also it is important to know if KPZ wishes to sell then it needs to let XTR know at least 60 days in advance. So it is a good deal and it seems an investment from KPZ as well, I am not sure what is the problem with topsharepicks, this poster needs to learn to read slowly rather than act like a teenage.

ValJu, most people when started a company they usually put in their own money, myself was the same, so using it as an excuse for me is not the right one. But over the years with the amount they have been paying themselves I think they have recouped what they put out long time ago whilst many investors may never see their money again. For a tiny company with the current package salaries, it is very much around £1mil a year, I think it is not right considering it is one of the worst performers on this market. Yes, more communications with shareholders is great but not investor presentations communication because we all know what will come after the presentation. This is definitely not a good time to buy VAL shares, wait until after the placing raise funds to feed the BOD. Have great day.

ValJu, I think my post to you before the agm was asking you for a favour to raise a question at the meeting about VAL201. Are we at the end of phase I/II and no more tests required in this phase or we are still very much in phase I/II and more tests required in near future? The reason I want an answer on that question because some posters think we only just completed phase I.

for other points you mentioned, the reason I do not attend the presentations or meeting because I do not hold a lot of shares like many of you. Few years ago if you hold 160000 shares it would be not bad or even lof if you consider the sp was 30p-40p a share lot but now that number is very much nothing...

ValJu, you are only a few on here who took time off to attend the presentations and meetings, I am sure many people are appreciated for your feedback. I must say VAL is the worst performing company I have ever come across with, if VAL was in another sector then it would have gone bust by now. I bought in again at around 7-8p for nearly £13K some years ago and I checked my account Yesterday and it was valued around £200 and it was down well over 97%, just imagine how much some holders bought at 20p, 30p, 40p...But what really annoyed me most was how much they paid themselves. I am a director of a company, a lot of failures in this company due to the incompetent abilities of BOD, if I was the director of VAL then I would not pay myself that much, maybe take share options as payment to help the financial.

BTW, I posted on here 1-2 weeks ago and asked you if you could question some of the points I mentioned, since then I didn't have time to check this board. Not sure if you read my post or have the answer, it would be very much appreciated if you could comment. Thanks

...and if you add the salaries and bonus/benefits for the rest of their employee then this company needs over £1million each year just to pay salaries and bonus whist the shareholders losing money and many would lose most of what they invested in. Unbelievable. I still have some shares here, few years ago it was worth around £12k-£13K and now probably £500 but many holders even worst. Sorry everyone.

Thanks nomlungu, that is disgraceful, I am currently a director of a company and I think I would be very worried for my position if my company does not make profit even in one year. How they allow to pay themselves that much is beyond me.

The funny thing thing is their last few rns(s) is very much threaten that they need to raise funds otherwise the company could be in trouble but they pay themselves very much £500000-£600000 a year. If I am being honest then I wish no one would put any more money into this company so we can see the truth what this lot is made of. All the best everyone.

I know this subject has been discussing a lot and no need to add more, there are 2 points t I like to say that:

1) I have never seen a single placing/subscription in VAL favour, all the time VAL seemed to happy to give other party more favour conditions and diluted the sp.
2) VAL seemed to get involve with few dodgy companies in the deals, it was Bracknor few years ago which caused huge loss in sp and then now with EHGO...these BOD people are very amateurs.

One thing I do not know is how much each member of the BOD earn, I see a lot of comments saying that they earned 6 figures salary but do we have any proof or any fact of their actual salary or people just make it up???
