I doubt TFG want even more SNG shares. You might be right, of course, but I don't think they think like 'we' do - in fact I don't know how TFG think at all. And I'm not sure there's any value in trying to second guess them unless you have a job in finance or work in their world. Which I don't. But I just don't 'feel' like they would like to throw any more money in this direction than they absolutely have to.

I'd be wary of taking too many shares. Unless you have some figures for what? Possible revenues vs costs? Or is that all too way, far away? I can't say I've looked in depth. I can't even bear to pour through the NHS published stats about numbers of patients who were MV'd - but I would if I was going to buy more than £200 worth.

It is worth being a bit careful/cautious. I suppose if anyone other than TFG takes some of the placing that will be a good sign - I kind of guess TFG where in a hole and had to buy themselves out of it. Be interesting if someone who was not in a hole wanted to take a few shares.

Again maybe there are answers to all my questions/thoughts. And I apologize for lack of research but because I'm not investing very much £ I haven't been investing much time either.

I don't know if the company is 'tainted' after failing to raise meaningful money. my guess is they could get the money but not on terms that suited them - ie too much dilution or too many CLNs. or just not a deal they liked.

anyway someone bought 12K's worth - was that the largest trade of the day?

If word gets out that Elon is buying - what is that - 500% to this sp in an hour? 1000%?

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling very stressed and distressed. And it takes some courage to share that and talk about that. For what its worth there is a huge difference between a company going into administration (bust) and de-listing to go private - which is what is happening here. The handful of very wealthy people I know own shares in many private companies and there are some small pharma companies whose IP or tech is so juicy and potentially so valuable they don't need to go public to raise money.

So this will be a private company. Like I said many very wealthy people are content to be invested in private companies.

Also this may not be a private company for very long. It might suddenly relist/reappear on the Nasdaq. In the meantime there are people buying the stock - they see opportunity. They might be right, they might be wrong but there may well be enough of them to give some an exit before de-listing. And there are other scenarios that might see volatility and an uplift in the sp prior to delisting.

Someone - was it Punter? - made the point that you could think of this stock like BTC. There is a core of gold here - that is why most of us bought some shares in the first place - and that core value/potential remains. I haven't checked but I should have a look at who the large holders of this stock are - are they still in? That is also a consideration.

Beyond that if you are really suffering go and see your GP - go and get some help. It is there on the NHS. You've paid for it with your tax and a good therapist could be very helpful if you are suffering from a lot of distress - there are resources and professionals out there who can help you to keep your mind in balance no matter how stressful the external pressures.

I'm sorry for anyone who has lost money. That always hurts. But I would think everyone here knew or accepted they were heading for a major fundraise/haircut - I was expecting at least an 75% discount (and now we have it). But if you did have a lot staked in here then I am sorry if you have lost money.

On personal note - the snidey poster who laughed at me for selling/buying in £250 clips....sorry mate but my small trades kept me safe. Now I feel like buying more. There's always the chance they will relist in the US, maybe sooner rather than later - but I have no idea if that would wipe me out. Also do we think MB is still 'in' - haven't seen a holding RNS for a while. And that 500K placing is a bit mysterious - whoever took that is still in? Don't think we've churned that much stock since the placing.

on the plus side...it might drop nastily but will bounce back as there are always loads of people who buy and sell a delisting trade. and there will be some who want to hold into the delisting as they can see value on the other side.

so....don't panic...hopefully it will keep trading till end of January...and there might be quite a ride.

I'm not accusing you of rampling. I'm just fed up of seeing what I call 'the Tesla ramp' wheeled out in several stocks. Mind you on this one you can more or less legitimateliy make that point. As to the country being 'destroyed' I just don't think in that way. Anyway I'm just rambling. Happy New Year to all.

otherwise the tesla ramp is like the 'cure for cancer' ramp - its been one of the most tragic ramps on numberless AIM stocks that have taken money off regular (non city people). and this one is closing in on the 0.06s again.

TFG's average - was it about 80 or 90p before?

Might be about 25p after the 18 million buy?

But I'm guessing...really rough calculations - anyone have a better figure?

I don't know what will happen. I'm not thinking about the delist. I'm assuming the funds will come and they will lurch towards the trial. In which case - they will need more money to finish the trial? And there's a just niche drug at the end of it. I guess one would need to sit down and look at how much TFG have spent to date and work out how they are planning to get some money back for themselves. That would be where I start.

be interesting to see some estimates - when tfg first got involved synairgen was not a niche drug - i think there was an hope or expectation of a wider potential rollout? that is over at the moment. so it much effect any projected revenues - if you really want to delude yourself in a hall of hopeless mirrors.

Why put more money in?

So the bigger pharma partner never showed up. TFG had to bail them out. So presumably this deal is good for TFG. They must have put themselves first. I haven't spend enough time on this to get it fully. I'm not sure I can even bear to go over all the details - not in a hurry to buy, lets put it that way.
