I would buy the cash call as well. Except I don't have a broker or any £. But if I did have some money and a broker I still might not be able to take part in a fundraise as Cummins or Elon or someone mega fxxxing juicy may well be readying to take over half the company in one sweet move. OK that is guesswork But it will do for 3.30pm on a winter Monday. Now...the kettle beckons....

what's normal for a pharma? do they announce a breakthrough themselves or do they announce it in a peer reviewed journal? anyone care to comment. I don't know the answer to the question but seeing as many people here are clearly deep in pharma...perhaps someone can shed some light.

Anyone read the IMM LSE board? It really looks like a crew were ramping that stock. I guess they bought in cheap and then went for it. I have no idea if they were independent or vaguely aligned with a broker - that is beyond my knowledge base - but still interesting that you could perhaps detect the work of a crew ramping, buying and selling. I am not saying that will happen here but it could - if the sp drops below 2p. Or they may already have taken a position. Just something to bear in mind over the coming weeks - so if I see the sp drop below 2p, I won't be selling or disappointed. I will be playing wait and see.

I would also hope that there is some snippet or two of news that might lift the sp. And again anything is possible - from who takes the new shares, a research note to any further relationships that Synairgen is able to form with any 3rd parties.

I'm not talking about a raise. I was saying if there were any shadows regarding the Phase 3 the company might need some help. Fortunately that help has come.

RNS saying the Phase 3 is on. RNS re parents

then boom. boom. boom.

US partner pulls out of Phase 3 (we have been waiting too long).

Still....now we have the 'breakthrough' and then the patents for news flow. hopefully...hopefully some funds are going to be raised via the options because if IMM had to release bad news re the Phase 3 then the sp would have sunk so very low that they would have to...they would have to have done what? a sub 1p raise? not sure they could do a sub 1p raise...it would have been consolidation....something technical about a a sub 1p that would have stumped them, I think...

How interesting. I still wonder if today's rise took the company by surprise or if this was their intention. And I wonder if dallo's post about the maths and Lanstead is one to consider.

I can remember being in a restaurant in Tokyo in the mid 90s and the US guys sitting next to me (on a different business trip) were talking about 'wireless internet'. They said were in Japan to work on that. But I failed to pay them any serious attention. I should have seriously got to know those fellows better. And followed that line in life.

I wouldn't rule out Telegram, its a lot quieter than Facebook or X because on the whole it is just members of the various groups who post. And some of the groups have good admins. So I'm not on Facebook or X but I am a member of thee or four TG groups - and sometimes there is some very helpful information in those groups. But I'm not joining a group that could easily have been set-up by one of the LSE DGi posters who operate under multiple iDs.

Telegram is quite good Hyper. You have to download the app onto your phone or computer and then join the group by following a link. Or maybe if you follow the link you will be asked to download the app. I can't recall as its been a while since I started on Telegram. Its better than X in some ways as there are no ads and the only info posted in the group is by people who join the group. If the group has admins they can kick people out of the group. So it can be dangerous for shares/investing as people get kicked out who may have contrary or helpful views - but Telegram groups can be interesting and helpful as well.

According to todays Reach...

What are these advances? why not give investors more information - I know companies often have good reason for keeping things close to the chest but why should I invest more than £1-2,000 in this or any other company unless they put more meat on the bones. If I was a journalist interviewing the company I would at least want to know how many people worked on these advances, who they were were - was it just one team or several - was all of the work in-house or was some research contracted out? How many hours were spent on them - is it a full or part-time project for the team - and what kind of work was done. I might be naive as an investor or pharma investor but I feel reluctant to part with more cash unless I am given more information. I will ask Roast (their PR) for more info when I have some free time. But I imagine they read this board. Well they should if IMM are paying them.
