We should get my expectation of £100m loss simply on the absence of loss from exposure to Israel. If we see the expected increase in easyjet holidays percentage of seats then we'll see higher margins from more seats flown.

£50-60m loss would be very positive.

Yes disappointing shareholders with record margins and record profits. The share price has very little to do with easyJet and the management for that matter.

The influencers are largely of little relevance to easyJet but the market seems to value them. If a competitor is having a tough time that's not negative for easyJet. If times are hard that is not negative for a budget carrier and holiday provider. If something happens in the US it means little to easyjet. All these things and more move the share price.

All that really matters is are the planes nearly full at a respectable average price, is the journey completed and the average percentage of users from the holiday business over 5% .

My hopes and expectations.

I hope to see a loss of £50-60m . I expect the loss to be less than £100m.

The quarter started strong with summer well extended in the Southern Mediterranean. Then we had the extreme weather events in Spain and really extending across the whole area. Since unsettled weather. Now we are back to regular winter sunshine and 20° daily.

Christmas was probably our best ever and we remain at capacity until the 2nd January.

January and February is very patchy, Easter is 70% sold with strong easyJet holidays sales.

H1 will be strong with a reduced loss.

Why?

Clearly it has nothing to do with the change of CEO. It has everything to do with the dire situation of the UK which is easyjets biggest market. That needs to change and we will see that with an increase in exposure to Italy, France and Germany for flights and eventually the holiday business.

It's been a super year and despite the fact that the share price remains laughable much progress has been made.

It will get to £6 but I see no relevance for £6. It's still a pathetic valuation given the commercial reality at easyJet.

The Christmas rush starts today. We are full from Saturday through to January 5th. 90% foreign bookings.

Days ahead....why. it's not going to reach anything serious in the next 12 months

I think that the subdued price movement is only a temporary situation. I suspect that the trend will pick up again in the weeks and months ahead.

I am expecting to see Easyjet holidays providing packages from Germany next summer. This summer we had several guests from Germany on easyJet packages. They were not commercially available but a test pool was in operation. I am expecting France and Italy to follow.

In 2 years time I expect the holiday business profit to exceed the airline

It should have been over £6 a year ago. Everything that has happened has been very well flagged. Brokers £2 ahead of the SP is nothing new. As soon as it's 1% up traders sell. It's how the market has become. There's very little money around.

EasyJet holidays are taking from all the others but mostly they are converting the DIY holidaymaker. Overwhelmingly that's my experience. Many are on their first package after years of ryanair and Airbnb

It would be interesting to see what happens if easyJet holidays were listed away from the UK.

However that degree of disproportionately existed when we all bought our shares.

It would be very nice if this situation changed whilst we are holders.

However to offset those extra shares easyJet now has a rapidly growing holiday business. Profitability is ramping up as the new business increases.

I guess that the question is for what purpose

I don't see why it would in a physical way but not understanding what's happening may cause some issues. I try to stay focused on the commercial aspects. This weekend was challenging.
