Hexy I agree and I think that's well supported by the numbers. When you look back at the naivety of Farage and Johnson who sold the UK a lie. Expecting to receive only the bits you want and ignoring the rest was naive and stupid but people bought it.

The current performance will be out in a few weeks and I suspect that it's up on last year which is all we need to know. The market will make up it's mind, whatever is happening now is weighing on the share price. As soon as it lifts it's suppressed. Soon it will break through

I guess the question is how long it takes to return to the previous trend line mid 14s. I don't think it'll be very long but you never know.

Hey. The developments are clearly visible but southern Spain has diversified greatly in the last 10 years.

Lots of new industrial areas and new technology parks.

It's incredible when you look in a Ferretería and the bulk of the products aren't made in China but made in Spain. In the Chinese bazar and many products are made in Spain. In the supermarket and mostly it's product of Spain. The industrial, agricultural and technology is booming.

I bought a new washing machine last week, made in Spain, a new mattress made in Spain.

The depth of the industry is staggering.

This is where the UK is under performing. It leaves the country vulnerable.

Jet2 are the UK on holiday and whilst the economy and industry appears to be very poor people still go on holiday. In fact the worse it gets the more people value their holiday.

James I am not at all negative. Just pointing out that trying to rationalise the PE at Jet2 by comparing to other businesses that are very different is pointless.

The UK to southern Europe demand that's the bulk of Jet2 business is robust but is vulnerable to economic downturn. The other airlines mentioned are in a much wider market with many flights between European destinations for purposes other than holiday.

Jet2 is totally exposed to the UK the others aren't. That doesn't make me negative, it makes me realistic.

I don't live in the UK and have only briefly lived there many years ago. I do see lots of negative press about the UK economy and that's concerning.

Here in southern Spain we are in a boom period, the feeling is very different.

TUI is a European business and much more diverse.

IAG is a global business and easyJet has a much larger customer base.

The weakness I would suggest is the UK exposure.

Confidence in the UK has always been low.

The question is will Jet2 correct up or easyJet down.

Both have robust sales, are in substantial growth, modern fleets mainly owned and a loyal expanding customer base.

The ebb and flow of the market is frustrating but reality only as far as price goes, it doesn't measure the business.

I assume that a substantial seller is offloading. Jet2 has a long list of substantial holders so take your pick. They hold 136 million shares in total. Although some will be inside and excluded with a trading update in a few weeks.

Airlines just can't catch a break. All down today.

A point must come where they are at least partially valued.

Valuations based on the sale value of their fleet plus cash is ridiculous.

I see ryanair are predicting increases in ticket prices this year of 2 to 4%. That needs to be 10%+ in my opinion.

Flights especially away from peak are just too cheap.

It'll push £13 several times before clearing I suspect.

I would imagine all discretionary spending shares are impacted by global uncertainty. It's a problem with a mentally ill world leader that acts upon dreams he has the night before.

America is in clear economic decline and that's going to cause issues globally. Yesterday I suspect that the realisation that Europe can destroy America economically forced trump to make changes and not for the first time.

It looks to me like this could go above the previous rising trend above £14. We could do with the oil price down but I suspect it'll return to that level anyway.

The buybacks sweeping up more cheap shares yesterday on another above average volume.

They have a tight budget range from what we have seen so far.

Aspers most people have trouble selling rather than buying. I always sell into a rise to bag profit. Never fall in love with a share. Set your goals and stick to it.

I am holding here at 1298 and I start to sell down from 1340. I have around 10000 shares and I will offload 1000 at a time over a week as opportunity arises. I don't care if it then goes higher., I will be somewhere else and keeping an eye here for a drop below 1300 again.

If I get out +5% in a few weeks that's fantastic

Jet2 are picking up some press here as a Vueling and easyJet alternative. Flight only will become more of a feature with the additional seats.

Good to see the buyback take a few extra shares yesterday. The budget goes a bit further at this price.
