Yes absolutely at £14.50 the dynamics have to be reassessed. I don't think the business makes much sense at £14.50 and even though it was in a rising trend we know the share price can move rapidly.

Strong number at year end and a chunky £25m buyback and it has to move back to the top end of £18-20. It did the exact thing before based on the same situation and will again in my opinion.

I am here for more than 15000 shares at 12.28, certainly I will be holding a much slimmer number above £14.

Solomon you need to understand that it's 15° in the south of France. It's simply not a winter holiday destination. Lots of expats live there but they don't buy package holidays.

There are no "facts" because this is a future question. Yes flights to some destinations are low priced, these are the destinations that aren't popular winter sun.

It's a different story if you go further south.

I am near Marbella and this isn't really a winter sun destination although we do get a massive amount of golf tourism. People want to have some sun in the winter and are heading for the canaries and Egypt mainly although Greece does have some volume as well.

Egypt is a great market, it's a package holiday dream because it's difficult to DIY a holiday there. Many feel more comfortable in Europe booking accommodation and arranging transfers. That's not the case in North Africa. Easyjet holidays are sometimes cheaper but they only have a couple of flights a week from Birmingham to Egypt so it defeats the main advantage hotels gain from the platform.

Here in Spain we have 40+ flights a day easyJet UK to Málaga and it really allows us to exploit the bookings because we know exactly when guests are leaving and arriving. We can achieve 95%+ occupancy which is crazy.

Pricing is a dynamic algorithm and very effective. If the price is high then so are bookings

Definitely FOMO. The chart is loaded to return to mid £14 in the near term. Lots of supporting evidence that the commercial performance is strong with a update in the next few weeks.

The price needs to exceed the previous attempts but this is stable so far.

It's not in the winter. Honestly you are wasting your time, I do this for a living at a large hotel group. We have hotels across the region.

South of France isn't a winter Sun holiday destination.

It's not profitable for a holiday airline to fly there in the winter and never will be... ever.

France has lots of visitors but many are travelling through or visiting Paris.

I am sure that we all understand that some routes have to be serviced in winter to hold them open and staffed for summer. Costa Brava and South of France amongst others. However these are expat hot spots and they seek out the regional airports.

The gamechanger this year is Greece and North Africa which has enjoyed success. There are still deals available especially in North Africa where hotels are remaining open through the 12 month cycle now to service winter bookings.

I don't think you can count the south of France or Northern Spain as a winter holiday destination. They are mainly flight only for expat routes in winter and will never be profitable.

Canaries and Egypt has strong pricing.

I can only see easyJet on our software and removing Easter prices are around 8% on last year. Jet2 will be similar resulting in around+5% through the winter.

We need to remember that Jet2 now has larger more efficient aircraft on these primary routes, more seats less fuel.

No surprise to me. We have had a very wet and very cold winter here in southern Spain but we are 5% ahead of last year on British guests over the winter That's across 18 4 star and 3 5 star hotels. Easter we are at threshold and summer we are 7 % ahead of last year at this time. Prices are up 3-4%.

I suspect that North Africa and the canaries have had much stronger performance with many extra flights from Jet2 and easyJet.

I read about it when you posted it before. However you don't know why and you don't know what affect it's going to have. It may be convenient for a seller to offer T20 settlement. I don't know or how long it will last.

However I do know that listed companies have both buyers and sellers. I would expect sellers to be rather limited at these levels, beyond traders anyway.

If it's not it's broken. It seems to be 3-4 up 3 months sideways or modestly up or down and 3-4 months down.

I have taken several big chunks today around the red line. It can go lower but here I am comfortable.

I think you have mentioned that several times. However there's also a substantial buyer in the form of the buybacks but they clearly are just mopping up loose shares in small quantity transactions.

I do get it, the chart needed to bottom and it needs a reason to rise.

The share dropped after the dividend date and kept falling. This is the whim of the market. Currently some are trading small gains and this is creating volitilty. Today a couple of times we had strong progress that was extinguished by rapid selling. That needs to stop or be countered with buying.

The reality is easyJet report strong summer sales in January. We have Jet2 adding extra summer flights to Spain and Greece. These will be 70%+ package flights which are higher margin.

It's horrible when your investment loses touch. I believe the tide will turn very soon.

The update should be good but we know Jet2 don't talk anything up.

Look at the chart you can see how quickly it rises.

I took just over 10k shares today mostly at the low prices. If it stays down I'll add tomorrow but this isn't science.

Overall, Jet2 reports that more than 3.5 million seats are on sale for summer 2026.

This is a crazy number for summer seats. Assuming 1.75m out and 1.75m back. That's from a population of 70m. That's 1 in every 40 people.
