How many "now or never" has there been in the past week? We got this wrong NoFear. Aim will get his proposed entry (and then start shouting 17p instead of taking it) and we'll be left waiting months to see break even again. Should never have came back in to this dog.

Should have got in when it was 9p.

NoFear, probably the same reason I was buying HARL at 5.8p and continued to buy it all the way up to 27p shortly before it plummeted. I don't know when to stop. 😂 That said, it was only 1p more than my entry price so not a huge amount when you're targeting mid 20s. I'm not worried about seeing 21p again, but certainly I'm re-evaluating my targets as the trading range could well be 18-22p rather than 19-25p.

It's starting to look like 21p was the short term target, not that dreamy 25p bounce some of us were hoping for. It has been in freefall since hitting those lofty heights of 21.4p on Friday and like an idiot I was topping up at 21p. It will likely test the all time low again from last week before moving back above 20p.

I wouldn't believe a word of what CPI IR tell you after what they told you at the end of last year about being in the money and what they said last year about IIs being more interested in CPI this year. Share price is at 27 year low and IIs don't seem interested.

Indeed, definitely an II selling in the background. Ever since the initial drop buys have outnumbered sells on the data we have but the share price is falling. It should move up once they clear out but god knows when that will be.

Those 2x 100k trades are from yesterday and one is cancelling the other. This is what I mean about things being hidden in the background. Are the MMs going to post a 10m sale from last week at some point? Something is odd about sells outnumbering buys and a dropping price. For every buy there should in theory be a sell as the MMs don't create new shares.

Whether my entry price is good depends on ehat happens next. We could fall below 20p and not see it again for months. Volume is plummeting and the life is being sucked out of it. We've been there last year when it stuck around 23-25p for months. Most boring share I've held.

As I said the other day, Fool website constantly flip flops between buy and sell on stocks for clicks.

I think something odd is going on with CPI. Every day the buys outnumber sells, or at least the ones we are aware of. Yet the share price is dropping or at best not moving. Something big must be happening in the background that is being hidden from us, like some big sells. If it shows no signs of moving soon then I may cut my position. I don't want money trapped in here for months if the trajectory is down to Aim's 18p targets.

Possibly, but I don't think people buy in anticipation of a loan being agreed as the terms are a big unknown. Plus who knows when JW will put pen to paper, if finances are still ok it could be pushed further back.

This will keep rising into the JR result in my opinion. Courts in NI are back September so the result could come anytime from then. Biggest piece of new we're waiting on but not the only one.

The price seems to drop when people buy, maybe we need 6m sells instead.

We will have to wait and see what Steamship company have to say in their nrxt update. Even JW seemed to think the announcement was still due end of July although he may have been updated since.

Private funding mskes sense from a taxpayers perspective but if they can't get the ship into service with reasonable fares then that's a problem. It seems all public transport has to be funded by the government these days to be viable.

Aim I was just about to ask what next since we survived the US opening. At some point you're going to run out of silly reasons for us to sell.

Fair points Trenners, but those were news driven events. I don't see it moving like that without some positive nees. Will be a slow burner until then. Still way more upside than downside risk anyway.

Not going well is it? Reminds me of when I put some money in THG at 33p for a bounce trade. It wasn't bouncing and I sold out at 32p. Then it doubled in about a week. I know more about CPI so won't be dumping this one like that. I also don't expect it to double in a week either. CPI is generally a slow mover.

Indeed Stokey, it's very unlikely to hit 19p this week. Can't say for sure it won't as you never know when a contract might land, but it won't get there with no news.

The traders are looking at it as we broke out of the down trend line that began after winning the FSS preferred bidder status. Zak Mir was talking about it in his podcast yesterday, suggesting 19p by the end of August and a return to 28p after. I don't rule out those claims but it will be based on fundamentals - the upcoming newsflow (mainly the JR) rather than simply following chart lines.
