The impression I got was that if we lose JW already has a backup plan to get things moving. I've no idea what that might be though.

I listened to the hearing back in May and we put a very good case forward. Nothing is guaranteed when it comes to court cases but I see more chance of winning it than losing.

Also what happened to courts not being back until the 4th?

Are we going to be able to watch the result hearing online?

It's market sensitive information so one would expect an RNS to be ready to go as soon as the judge speaks.

Thanks Nic62. So the company has lost more than half its market cap (over 350m) over a potential worst case scenario of a 25m fine. That doesn't make any sense.

Donwe know when the ICO is likely to issue the fine for the hack? How long do these things generally take?

Why on earth would you short this at a 27 year low when you can look at any AIM stock that has risen 30%+ in the past week and almost guarantee a return on a short?

It's about time the BBC became a subscription service or ad supported. The license fee just doesn't make sense in 2023. The BBC is already set up for ads anyway, they just fill the ad breaks in the UK with crap or advertising their own programmes, or they make 45-50 minute programmes instead of 1 hour lengths.

I had Capita banging on my door for three years because I didn't need a TV licence, it was legalised harassment. I eventually got a license just to make it stop. This practise needs to end. It's highly damaging for the company's reputation.

Yeah there's certainly worse stocks to be near 30% down on. I'm sure it will get back above 27.9p here at some point. All it takes for sentiment to change is a decent contract win or a better set of results. I would prefer some contract wins as that's what will see this to profitability and growth.

I scraped a barrel called MMAG for a top up here, sold at 15p as it was doing nothing for over a month. It immediately started rising and hit 20p earlier this week. It's now heading back to 15p as that's what AIM stocks do, but shows that you need to be careful when selling stocks and have more faith. This is just my trading pot so I don't plan to be here longterm. I thought there was a short term 25p in this for a quick flip but I was wrong and don't mind admitting that. It's looking more like a medium term target now.

AimMaster won't be buying in the 18s... He'll be posting about 17s soon. One of those trolls that clogs up a bosrd but never buys then misses the bottom. Fair play to him, not buying stocks is working better than my strategy of buying them.

I don't have a lot of CPI shares but I was already scraping the barrel to add in the first place, scraping barrels that perhaps shouldn't have been scraped. But I'm hardly concerned with a 20.48p average. I could probably find enough cash to bring it back to 20p if I tried but not sure it's worth throwing good money after bad when the share price is acting like a falling knife.

Fsir points Trenners, I would like to know what is going on as well to be honest. I don't buy into NoFear's theories of market manipulation. But my theories of big seller in background hold no weight either until we see a TR-1. It doesn't make any sense. It is tempting to find more cash to add at this level but how low will it go? I don't see CPI going bust so it won't keep dropping forever.

It doesn't matter how it got there. It has been in freefall since Friday afternoon and shows no sign of stopping. Only reason I haven't taken my loss is I know it will bounce the second I do.

Indeed, I really don't think there will be any CLNs. They're usually done by companies desperate for finance who are struggling to get a traditional loan. I think the only dilution we are facing when it comes to finance will be more warrants issued at around the share price when the deal is signed. I can live with warrants if that comes, it's not ideal but it's likely to be no more than 10%.

I think a placing may also arrive one day as well but at a much higher share price (above 50p) when the amount raised would be substantial. Not something to be worried about right now. There's no point at this level as the amount raised would be tiny. Like why give away half the company for 10 million? I could only see that as a worst case scenario where finance fails altogether, but given that JW has already had a deal on the table I think it's safe to assume finance won't fall through.

In my experience anything with a CLN only goes down over the longterm. Look at COPL, BMN, RMM for a few examples. All took convertable finance and the share prices got hammered, one even went bust. Any sign of a convertable loan note and I'm getting out.

In my opinion JL has failed and should leave immediately.

How on earth can he get it so bad? Paid down all that debt and raised all that capital and yet the share price is at a 27 year low. Admittedly it looks undervalued, hence my investment here. But it seems no one wants to invest in the London markets as there are tonnes of undervalued companies. Maybe I need to start investing in NASDAQ companies. Seems easy mode compared to LSE.

Can't believe we've had a near 10% drop since Friday. Something definitely going on here. As usual looks like I have bought near the top. I'm confident we will see 21p again but as for value after that I'm not so confident. That may be the upper end of the new trading range. This feels like when it dropped from around 50p into the 20s a couple of years ago and never regained those losses other than for a brief moment this year.

If they are going to pay 50-60p why does it matter if the share price is 19p or 40p? Why suddenly now?

I would have put it higher than 70% to be fair.
