I don't know why this company has such a problem attracting investors now that it is on NASDAQ. This board is dead, which just shows the lack of investors. Over the past week I have reduced my holding to 4 shares because it has been flatlining for too long and I found a better opportunity. I'll be back at some point I'm sure as this company has a great future and holders will be rewarded, but right now isn't the time for me.

I agree Moog, totally agree ARB will do good in the long run. I just don't want the stress of having 20% of my portfolio in a volatile stock. I did my research like everyone else, but I'm not so confident on those figures any more. Like who knows what bitcoin will be worth a year from now? Makes it difficult to value the company.

I did have a large amount in CINE and still think it is a solid investment but I sold it as I came across a better opportunity.

That's the thing, it's a volatile stock and I was worried last week that the bitcoin bull run had ended. ARB has potential but it's clear from last week what will happen to it once the bull run does actually end. Lots of people in this with weak hands. I don't mind having more than 20% in one stock if it has low downside risk and high upside. I'm balls deep in another stock way more than 20% (which I won't list to avoid cross ramping) but I'm super confident on that investment and I'm up 20% on it. Would have been more but I keep adding and increasing my average. It doesn't come with the same worry you get in ARB about bitcoin.

@wasarunner I just think 20% in one stock is a lot unless you are super bullish. Admittedly I've lost confidence since I went in that deep. If I weren't underwater I would reduce to 10%.

I've been saying this (along with others) but that went out the window when we lost 200p support. It was a decent pattern for over a month when we were bouncing between 200-250p but more recently it's too unpredictable.

I'm 20% in ARB and feel uncomfortable to be honest. About 20% down.

I'd be happy with a finish above 0.60 today. Can't believe I managed to top up at 0.57 this morning just after opening.

Manipulation of stocks is a frequent thing. There are rampers who target penny stocks with low volume to drive demand. Once the price goes up by quite a bit they start selling and telling everyone it's just a tree shake. Happens frequently on these boards. Just look at PREM, 88E, UKOG in recent months.

The same certainly happens in crypto for alt coins. There is a group on Telegram/Discord with more than 100k people. The owners buy a coin and then tell everyone a date and time of a pump they are planning. When the time comes they announce the coin and get everyone to promote it. Then comes the dump.

That's what happened to me SprinterSacre. I was planning to reduce my holding for a small loss if we got back above 200p. When we hit 200 yesterday I got greedy and thought I may as well hold on for my average of 223p then reduce. Even thought about holding for a new bitcoin high in May.

I don't like the direction bitcoin is heading. Going to be a nervous weekend.

Last time bitcoin was 54k before the recent crash we were at 220p.

ARB was being shorted and sold by institutions. The price dropped from 240p to 135p in a week. It also had a positive RNS yesterday. It's still down a lot from where it should be at 53k bitcoin. That's why it bounced back so strong. Steady rises are better in my opinion.

Yeah I definitely understand why people would want to slice at 1p if they have already multi bagged. Although you have to ask yourself is there a better share to put that slice into for the next year or two once we do hit 1p. For me 1p will be just over 1 bag (not counting stake) so I'm in it for more. My average is now 0.48p after having first bought at 0.36p. I wish I'd had the confidence to put all the money in back then as I've put in so far.

I wonder how long it will take to break the 1p resistance when we get there with lots of people taking slices.

Before all this started I would have been expecting 230p for 56k bitcoin. We were moving about 5p per 1k bitcoin from a base of 200p = 50k.

I had considered slicing 1/3 for a 20% loss if we reached 180p+ again after what happened on Friday but I believe things have changed and this isn't a spike. Still intending to slice a bit but not until I've broke even.

In the short term I don't expect big moves in bitcoin until after Friday's options expire. Might even wait until new bitcoin all time high in May to do my slice.

The market isn't getting any of mine until 3p+. I don't understand why people would be wanting to slice at 1p. But I suppose a lot of people have entry points around 0.3p.

I am glad that the share price stabilised today. I think we'll move up over the next couple of weeks as some people who panic sold will be looking to get back in now that we're stabilising. Probably need to stick around this level for a few days first to reassure people it's not going to fall further.

End of the year just to get back to where I started. Great investing that.
