ARBKF is down 1.5%. Hardly a big change. Bitcoin is up about 1% since Friday close. I'm not sure what all the complaining is about.

It's more that the share price fell after positive news. People expected more I guess? I think 4D will come off well longterm, just got to ride the ups and downs. Even if it falls after June news it will likely set a new floor higher than today.

He does have a point to be fair. I think it's just an AIM thing. Look at what happened with SNG on Friday for another example. I'm kinda expecting the June update here to be hyped up in the weeks leading up to it followed by another fall in share price. Not sure I agree on moving money into crypto though. Rewards can be good but losses will also be high when the bear market hits. Some people are going to lose a lot of money there.

@TheProphet Why? Obviously I want the other 60% to do well. For me I still have a lot of money invested and the sale was about reducing exposure. I'm confident that where I put the money I took out will do at least as well as ARB this year. I apologise if my post came across as deramping, I just have low expectations after the disappointment that was April.

To be fair the last time bitcoin went to an all time high the share price started falling and dropped to 130p. If people start getting impatient that the share price isn't rising fast enough with bitcoin then they start selling and the price doesn't move as expected. Also if I were looking to buy shares in bitcoin miners for the first time I wouldn't want to buy when bitcoin is at a peak because we can almost certainly expect a pull back towards the end of May as happens every month. Point is, we need realistic expectations. I agree with Ashstash89 that next week will be a battle to stay above 200p

Share price moves on supply and demand for shares, not bitcoin. If bitcoin rises but demand for shares falls then yes the price will go down.

I know how you feel though Steve. I sold shares in DDDD for top ups here and that is also due a re-rate.

Why are you uncomfortable? 0.584 is still a great price given how undervalued the company is. My first buy was 0.36 but I've kept adding since with my latest at 0.60 yesterday. Only thing stopping me buying more is lack of funds. Current average is 0.49.

I'll miss being a share millionaire but I agree it's probably a good thing. A lot of people avoid stocks around 1p or less.

@swans I actually disagree. If you truly believe in a share then definitely do put lots of eggs in that basket. Most of my eggs are in one basket right now and I'm not worried about it in the slightest. ARB is where the majority of the rest of my eggs are but it was too much once we stopped tracking bitcoin up but kept tracking it down. It was 21% of my portfolio before the reduction and for me it still seems like I have a lot in for a volatile crypto stock. Some people on here are weighted even heavier than that and they must have balls of steel.

@teawithsugar I'm not bitter at all. It was a calculated sale to reduce the weighting in my portfolio as I was getting stressed too much when the share price was plummeting. As I said in my response to Blubay I have left enough in that I can still make up for those losses if ARB performs as well as people like yourself expect. As for losing confidence in bitcoin, I meant that I don't believe it will reach the lofty highs of 100-300k that you often see mentioned on here. Due to the fact people are moving more and more money over to alt coins. I'm not saying it as fact, just my opinion and it may well be proven wrong.

@Blubay The way I see it, I just increased the average on my remaining shares from 222p to 248p. We were at that level a few weeks ago so it's not a loss that can't be recovered providing I don't continue selling. I did find the volatility a bit too much for my level of investment so taking some out was inevitable for me. I put the money into a good place which I think will do at least as well as ARB over the coming year. Hopefully confidence will return once the bitcoin options expire and good things happen for ARB in May.

I was diversified until I discovered RMM. It's risky but I believe I'm on to a good thing here.

Underwater. I sold around 40% of mine for a 14% loss loss this morning. I don't particularly want to sell them all for a loss. I was confident when I invested, but when all the "hodl for godl" people disappeared and sold out only to buy back in on the dip they created then I lost confidence in bitcoin miners. I've not even got the same confidence in bitcoin any more that I had when I invested. Too many **** alt coins being pumped and taking the money away from bitcoin.

It's only just getting started Slurm. Many good posts on here from Cornishknocker and DJRyan777 and others on where this is going. Reasonable predictions of 3-4p with a few predicting a bit higher due to the high price of copper.

I more than trebled my holding to 13 shares today.
