What you don't mention here is that CMC charge up to 50% as fee. So if AMGO can get customers directly to them and settle it for more than 50% of the claim amount then it will be win - win for all but sadly not for CMC's

Reject the proposal and get few pennies (If the company go under) Eg. Wonga, payday loan.. etc
Or
Accept the SOA and may be up to half of the original claim.

If anyone do that, that person shouldn't be investing. There are so much of information freely available. Why on earth some one make investment decisions purely based on the information here.

I can't see any reason why they reject this proposal. If Amigo go under they might get 5-6p per pound just like other lenders gone down. But if they agree for this they might get 50-60p per pound.
So it's bit unclear at the moment.

Have you listen to the webcast presented by the AMIGO board?
There were couple of people asked about the redress amount of £159mil. GJ has clearly answered to this and said £159mil is included the future potential claims and not just the claims they have received so far. Also he mentioned this figure is based on assumption that the company will receive higher level of complaints and should cover the amounts.
I don't think GJ wants to give wrong information to the public and I believe £159 is for all the complaints.

I don't think anyone knows what's going to happen in the next 4 weeks. Without a big news we may not see this will go over 11-12p by end of the year. But I'm again cautiously optimistic that the share price will go up slowly along with the positive news flow. I'm not a day trader so I'm willing to wait.
