I bought today too. Lockdown is effectively over. The demand for Bree's products, particularly after their buy of CEMEX should increase by some margin for the infrastructure program that will be announced. Beyond just the HS2 program. Must make them susceptible to a takeover too as not expensive presently. 110p in 3 months would be my initial take but 3150p could happen by year end if the "shovel ready" speed of orders actually becomes a reality

well, at least we can see why EVE have not cracked it yet. Its certainly a niche product.....

This is weird... all good news but a never ending falling SP.... hmm. this is some pull back from 190p it doesn't feel like a shake out as it has gone on too long and been too consistent. Clearly currently there are no buyers out there for this stock.

its so close.... will it hold this time? If it does quick further gains very likey. Has to close above 100p (to sell) to give some encouragement its not a false breakout.

maybe XSG could spend a nit more on PR and let the general populace know they have the product of the 21st centuary!

I can't see 320p until 1m rules is in (my feeling once we have 1m there is no social distancing effectively), that way people will be more likely shop in towns as well as on line. Certainly the reduction in overheads will have helped enormously with the rates and furloughed staff reducing expensive overheads. So now I think we are now still a couple of weeks away before more confidence returns

Where we might get a better outcome than expected is in the reduction of costs. So although sales as of end of April down 23%, with no rates to pay for 12 months and furloughed staff, the actual profits might well offset that lower revenue. The chancellor has to do something to fire up spending, so a general cut in VAT may follow which would help all retail, in conjunction there might well be cuts in employers NI as well. Access to cheap money might also help. Car fuel might increase but that will only benefit Halfords as a cheaper place to have your car serviced and also might convert more to bikes. And also with cheap money it makes a potential buy more rather than less likely.
I am expecting a surprise in the profits to the upside in July.

A bid, should it happen will either be recommended by the board or not. If it becomes a hostile takeover then the shareholders decide. I don't know about you but | only bought this share to make money. Nobody at eve will bail me out if lose anything on it.

I always thought it was just brokers balancing their books between buy and sell orders as opposed to actual real tranactions

my thinking was if the cash is worth about 3p a share? then they get the rest of the company for about £2m or so?, Then it might be attractive to someone? This makes the results much more interesting because if EVE is profitable then the £7m does then underpin the SP as an increasing ,rather than a decreasing asset, and a higher rerating might occur then I originally considered. It might be worth increasing my risk for this outcome....

im surprised the SP is holding up as well as it is, given that they are downgrading 2021. With the recent dilution also to be taken into account it feels this is going back another 10-15% imo

Hi DMc, it seems to me XSG have done their part in getting the manufacturers on board, its now up to them to sell the machines with the XSG tech built in. I agree the lack of news can be frustrating but XSG said revenue streams would only start towards the end of this year, so a bit more patience is in order it would seem....
