Ok, fair enough. Does that mean Plan B was ready and just needed some confirmation of the actual sales. In which case wouldn't the lenders have been informed that these sales were close to completion?

Hasn't the problem been caused by the inability of Woods to satisfy the lending criteria?

Surely they would have started on this course of action a while ago? Or this has all happened since the accounts(which is historic), problems?

I am not tying myself in knots, I am just trying to with hindsight see how/why woods keep saying they are minded to accept an offer at what seems a derisory price if there was never any need to?

Just to re-iterate, I have no feelings about this other than to comment on the logic of some posts.

The bit I don't get is that if there was always a plan B then why not say that the 30p/35p potential offer was not enough and they would be minded to say no to it? This immediately would have forced the SP higher at the time?

The sale might be a bit of a zero sum game because it diminishes the value of the assets and just moves them into cash so does not materially affect the overall valuation.

It might buy Woods breathing space but if it has I think that then goes to the parlous state of the cashflow prior to the disposals?

65p with a retrace to 60p is the obvious one. If/when 65p goes then its into the Mid 70's

Fwiw it was punter that was the problem... but he seems to have gone now.

PC was so politely off the chart (in more ways than one) with his constant "analysis" postings that it was easy to ignore.

Companies like this (loss makers) need to be traded carefully (if at all). You have to be confident you are buying when the last fund raise has taken place.

My original thought was Galatica (assuming it does actually produce revenue), will allow HE1 to carry on as a company if it turns out Rukwa is too expensive to immediately commercialise. What price the SP will be by then however is the $64m question.

I took some on the bell too D, but did most at 33p and then more at 44p so this is the last for now I think.

I don't mind averaging up as I always feel more comfortable than averaging down but the money needs to go to work.

I don't think today's RNS reflects that situation any more than yesterday did.

This is all about the money.

It has relieved the very immediate short term concerns up until the end of the year (given that the cash pile was only enough to get into Q1 of 2026!

From there at least another £13m looks to be raised and that still could be through a RI. If it was it would be evry short term so i can see a mixture of some sort of partnership and further dilution in the next few months.

This will be ok if the trial stays on course timewise and does not slip in its execution and at the same time at last produces real commercial possibilities for the platform through improved efficacy results.

So there is an element of "as you were" in this, but the forward detail is there in an effort to reassure investors that there is a coherent plan.

On the downside we have been here before but this time we have years more data to refer to enforce the begging bowl routine.

(Remember the "market" is a cynical mean player and won't give a toss about what AVCT are trying to do.)

Quite a lot in that RNS with the ifs and buts, but my takeaway is that short term this is good because again it has dealt with the short term share dump, however it was over subscribed so I still expect selling pressure but that will be because there is an excellent chance of the SP being above 50p, so its definitely good but still i think we need to be aware that its a very similar exercise to whats gone before, but it has removed the market expectation of uncertainity of where the SP might go every 3 months in this much more ordered short term solution.

The deferral is interesting and also helpful and tells the market that more money (at least £13m?) is coming into the company. The choices including a RI does not take us that much further forward at this stage. Prior to this we were told they were looking at partnerships, so really no change other than to formalise what has been a vaguer pathway previously.

This is all good as this is starting at last to put the meat on the bones and although the options are the same as they have ever bee, specific dates implies this is to a large extent already sorted now and the future finance plan is in place.

It does pave the way for any good trial results not to be overshadowed or diluted by immediate financial concerns.

How this will affect the SP, I don't know as its new news, but I am sure we all expect some sort of increase as it has dealt with the money for next 6-18 months. This will hopefully concentrate attention now on the science and as long as it does not disappoint then this may well be the turning point of AVCT.

(If that view is widely accepted then there should be quite the bounce, however the market has a way of seeing things differently, but at the risk of repeating myself, the detail is what I think, the market will appreciate and react accordingly.)

Actually it struck me as a negotiating ploy. They now "raise" the bid to 35p to get it over the line and they are only back to where they started?

Anyway this has turned out to be quite the saga.

The BoD are still " minded" to accept the offer (if it ever comes), which indicates its sid playing hardball? All very confusing

It seems pretty clear the BoD and the lenders are ready to sign off.

I'm not sure where all this Plan B stuff is to be a viable alternative?

Surely by now if an alternative was more than likely it would have been highlighted, such as , Wood looking for alternative bidders, or II's not preppared to accept deal etc etc.

But the lates RNS really is only pointing one way, isn't it?

I am a bit confused. Do you think this BoD is corrupt or lazy and only got their fingers out after there book cooking was discovered?

Or were they always on the ball but were completely hoodwinked by the false accounting and without further thought, were minded to accept whatever offer sid made?

I can't quite get where you think the BoD are with this, competent or not? I seem to remember you saying they should all be booted out at the special meeting that was going to be convened?

Fwiw my thinking is its more likely than not to have ago at 54p as a mini resistance. It had a brief look at it today but retreated but not very far. This suggests to me it did not "fail" to go through but just tested the water.

Asa result it will have a more concerted attempt tomorrow and if it does go through then 60p ish is not so far away so if it goes through with some momentum I can see a reasonable case for the extra push to the 60p-65p target.

But who knows.... but my view is it will close above 54p and I think comfortably hence 57p and as I say 60p ish is not that unreasonable.

whether or not an rns does land tomorrow and does all the heavy lifting my view was decided today prior to that unknown.

Of course it could just as easily fall from here but I think the odds say otherwise.

The last few quiet trading sessions have pushed the chart into more of a trading range/holding pattern, between .46 and .41. a break outside this range would indicate further moves in that direction.

Should not be long before we know which way.
