If the SP is any indicator then this does not look like earth shattering news.

It still looks like steady as she goes, more test and trials to do, still a ways off.

This makes sense given the 50p raise. Nothing, exceptional news-wise, imminently expected. That means the II's were probably shown this latest info and that maybe dictated the 50p price?

Well, its looking ok, small choppy "highs" of 11p-12p to be cleared but the big one will be a close above 13p

13th, you are a wag... PL75 agrees with me on just about everything about AVCT, He really does.

(He now agrees the LFT has no future, he now agrees, there was a raise coming, he now agrees AS statements can have more than one interpretation, He now agrees that you can't trust an AS timeline prediction.)

I have corresponded with AS in the past a few times (very few) and he has always responded quickly and politely giving as much info as legally possible. He never asked or mentioned if I were a shareholder.

And why would he? Makes no difference to AVCT. Plus just because you are not a shareholder today does not mean you won't be tomorrow.

But that's another problem for some here, you have to be "invested" or your post does not count... (unless of course you post "positivley, because as well know the individuals state of mind influences the SP, in which case the question never arises.)

Sharebel, your wish is never going to come true with any high risk stock that has the potential to multibag on positive news.

If you want slow and steady then go for a FTSE 100 company.

The very nature of stocks like this means its not an investment but a gamble. And naturally people will jump on and off depending on what they suspect/guess is most likely coming.

Again if (thorough your term "traders"), you feel this is manipulated or unfair in some way to your desire of SP movement andbeing gentle and, more predictable then best sell up because this stock, if potential is to be realised, could be anywhere from 20p-100p and that is going to cause HUGE volatility up and down, which will continue for months if not years.

No one has siad AVCT will FAIL based on the past. What I have said that their track record of commercialising their tech previously has failed, therefore there is a risk based on the history of the company (FACT). At the time AS promised us that everything was going great but it did not turn u out that way, therefore caution should be applied.

They won't fail because they need more money but it could lead to ever greater dilution making the returns on the investment poorer. (Look at the most recent raise.)

The Efficacy has not been proven yet that part of the trial has still to take place and we are probally 6-9 months away.

So why be so provacotive and make up stuff that no one has ever said?

I think so. (It always seemed to me the 2 were entwined).

I have lost track of the appeal. Do we know when the judge will decide?

I believe in AVCT, I am just trying to mitigate losses and maximise returns, but that's just me.

Here's a dilema, could be very good news next week. (lots of data at higher dose levels to report etc etc), therefore higher SP, but, soon after Heights will be dumping millions of shares, likely SP fall.

is it a necessity of PLC accounts that you must have 12 months cash in hand before the accounts can be signed off or recognised practise or just a rumour that that's a requirement?

I can't find one and 3 months of cash seems to crop up but I am struggling to find anything remotely definitive.

You won't read this Digi, but lets assume you are correct and AACR blows the doors off. Its certainly a possibility.

(Although quite how you interperate an almost all time low as proof of something brewing is quite the contrarian stance.)

Given AVCT had £16m in the bank there was no immediate pressing need to do the raise last month, given they will already have known what info and data they have to ready to release at this event.

That begs a question of SP manipulation between AVCt and the funders of the raise and certainly NOT working in the Share holders interests. I think many here would be pretty peeved (coupled with relief) if it turns out that info was available but held back.

(Remember what AS said about releasing data at a more advantageous time?)

Or, there will no revelation per se and its going to take its own sweet time with more data released in Q3/Q4.

I don't know what the answer will be. but on the face of it there is evidence (sp raise at 50p) that there will be no shock/surprise good news.

And based on the latest timelines of further regimes of testing, no evidence that this will suddenly reveal great data that has been deliberately held back.

Why is it no longer allowed to discuss the merits of AVCT as an investment here?

I think it is indisputable that focussing just on the science is a redundant and backward looking exercise that does not inform, remotely reliably, what then transpires.

All you can do regards the science is to look at what has already been posted and said. There can be no insight as the people with the potential insight (the chemists and Dr's at AVCT), have already stated what they know.

Any poster here that then joins the dots further to what has been posted is guessing. Its not based on the science, I repeat, its just guessing.

Thats why the posters here who rely on the "science", have so far been incorrect. Their guesses have proved fanciful and wrong.

I don't have a problem with this and never have done. All I have in fact EVER questioned, is the certainty that some posters frame their guesses, alluding to them as facts.

As the whole point of buying stocks and in this case AVCT, is to make money through SP appreciation, then a question to all the LTH's:

Has this panned out the way you expected with regards to the SP? Its not a trick question . And i also completely acknowledge that it could still be a success. but thats for the future and none of us know how that will unfold.

So, if the SP has not performed over the years as expected then surely it is reasonable to discuss why without getting so completely over the top about it?
