The Jacskson drill may well be the near term driver. That seemed a particularly bullish update to me....and maybe has gone under the radar a bit? ..... but I might be biased....

imo, further short term gains look very likely which in turn means there still seems to be a reasonably large window of opportunity to buy around these levels. (dyor etc etc)

It de-risks a lot I think Pension. How it will be funded will be the next step but this is big deal. Its going ahead. Which means its viable, which means raising the next batch of funds should be easier and therefore less onerous on current shareholders than it might have been. Plus now we have some income.

And as they say... every little helps....

AVCT, some posters here, expected an update in p1b data.

The stake in the US is something but given the market cap of HE1 its all about Tanzania. So even if the US is good but Tanzania isn't, then there will be a fair old sell off i imagine. Dyor etc etc.

Seems a bit nervous about breaking the resistance of the all time high. If it does without a retrace then its likely to fall back to that as a support as it is already approaching over bought territory.

Or it will fall back a little (1366p?) from here to give itself enough headroom to go through more easily

Drop has halted. (is it temporary or the bottom? )so hopefully this is the end of the retrace. the RSI has unwound to pretty much neutral at 52

(fwiw I have added a few at 1.p just now having top sliced at 1.27. but this is clearly still a punt so dyor etc etc)

Christ on a bike... Why say, out of the blue, in the fist place ,its imminent? Because it hasn't happened yet and the market thought it may have been or should have already been, underway. This is important because the next fund raise will be determined by the data from P1b. Any delay to P1b potentially has time implications for this data to be released in the timeframe when the next bout of funding is required.

So yes, of course you would say it has now started. It doesn't have to be RNS'd it could simply be put out on X .

And its not me and the rest spreading FUD, its bloody AVCT, never ever delivering on what they promise regarding timelines.

You give far too much credit to the few here that are sceptical around AVCT. Take it it up with CC and the company itself.

Aga, I think there are 2 things, one the ML seems to have been delayed from initial expectations back in Sept when it was lodged. The other is the constant talk of a more funds. I can see a scenario where good news is released from the Battlestar Galactica to coincide with a further cash raise...

But I am just guessing...Who knows what goes on behind closed doors.... (Hmm...Maybe somebody should write a song about that....)

No, I was just trying to make a point that just because a crowd think one thing does not make them right because of their number. I just took a gamble that there was half a chance some here knew about Galileo and thought that would get the point across.

Ben, its not about (and never has been) about influencing the SP or indeed other people. I always thought it was meant to be about an exchange of views and strategies and maybe learning about others success and failures and experience to actually help each other.

Because truly what else is the point?

As you say, we can't influence the SP, we can't influence how the company operates and its results, and we sure as hell don't know what goes on behind the scenes, so we make judgements on what to do on partial information and mostly experience of similar situations.

(If some here are snorting in derision I think it says more about them than me.)

Its too easy to be cynical and abusively rude when given the cover of anonymity but normally in real life people are much more tolerant towards each other.

Hang my head in shame... for what? expressing my views on an investment BB? I really don't take this board as seriously as some here do. And certainly I am not influenced by recs. (I imagine Galileo took some stick from a lot of people at the time but it not make him wrong, nor they right.)

I have been pretty clear on my trades and where I thought the SP was going over the years and have been right more often than wrong so quite why you think I am the fantasist i have no idea, other than you judge me by your own, small-minded standards.

I know I keep saying it D, but it really is a crap shoot on the XSG's of this world. That;s why you just can't over commit on these high risk stocks.

I am slowly (like you perhaps) scaling back further in the other one, and rather than transferring it to another completely different but in truth, just about identical profile, ie loss making ,high risk, jam tomorrow , company, instead increasing my exposure to big cap defence stocks. (I am actually very content with a 15-20% annual return and these days as risks are increasing so less greed and more money in the account....)

But I still work for a living and can be here and do both at the same time... lucky for me, not so much everyone else.....

There are a few other high risk stocks that I am happy to be in and wait. This is one of them. I can't help it if its been dog so far for some. Personally its been very good to me. Just that there have been a lot of red flags that I have tried to highlight just in case its assumed this can't fail.
