For any other amateurs, I found this description quite reassuring. - Share options schemes are used by bigger companies (or companies which are planning to get bigger because they've got some investment or are growing fast) as a way of incentivising staff. You offer someone the option to buy the shares later at a discount because you want them to stick around.

The Tr1 system being “broke” is capitalism at its finest, always the plebs the last to know.

Depends really on how much the CEO is worth, don’t get me wrong, 225k is a hefty chunk but I would like to see more buying from him over the coming months. It’s a shame the Tr1 set up has gone to pot.

Just my thoughts, I’ve never posted on here but read through the comments daily, COPL has become a bit of an addiction the last 6 months, I need a hobby! I bought in pre suspension after doing a bit of research, seemed a no brainier with the atomic purchase and Nigeria in the background. When the share relisted, I, like many others couldn’t believe the drop to 16p, I bought a few on the way down, my average is around 32p. I never dreamed that in the meantime there would be a 1.6b discovery, excited isn’t the word. I know Art seems to have a bit of a mixed reputation, whether that be past failings or placings (I still don’t understand the recent placing when they must have known about the epic discovery), I don’t know, the guy clearly has some good credentials, his salary tells you that. My only real question now is his holding, just over 2 million shares, I don’t know about anyone else but if I’m the ceo of a multi billion company, I’d want my shares to be worth a lot more than £1 each. Anyway just my 2 pence worth, some great knowledgeable posters on here, other posters with clear agendas, I try not to get too emotional over the posts, easy enough to use the filter. Good luck all, if it gets as high as some predictions, I’d be happy as a pig is the proverbial.
