Recent comments re. Utah samples and fuel for Moroccan trial have left me somewhat dismayed. Just when you think things are moving apace, bang! everything seems to grind to a halt and the progress vacuum drags the SP down again. I can see us in December, discussing why the oil samples have still not been sent, the delays and issues finding a producer for Morocco fuel and the MSC trials still in discussion stage and the SP falls back to 1.6p.

All the while the BoD tell us "things progressing well.......jam tomorrow.......BioMSAR trials went well.....jam tomorrow......MSC trial to start soon.....jam tomorrow....great new Green MSAR product developed even more environmentally friendly....jam tomorrow, etc etc etc.

While of course continuing to pick up their inflated salaries as the cash runs down and the SP tanks. It's got to the stage I've got more confidence in success from my Petroteq investment than I have in QFI.

Discussion on Tomco board re possible Greenfield/Shell/ MSC/QFI collaboration to produce Low Sulphur BioMSAR. Just speculating of course, with a load of wishful thinking but it would be great news if Shell became the missing link in a huge production of MSAR/BioMSAR operation.

Yes, why bother tweeting if no benefit to QFI in the association between MSC and Shell?

And, while they're at it, a short tweet saying "Utah samples arrived and testing work commenced" would be welcome.

Maybe MW had "communications" as part of his brief and they have been very unsatisfied with his efforts to date???

I wonder how the recently onboarded IIs are looking at this holding now? I realise there buying in at 2.7p leaves them still well ahead but the steady drag down since the early May highs may be leaving them less than impressed. As LTHs we are well used to the SP behaving like this but are they???

With FEED study publication imminent and QFI testing of oil samples likely to be complete by end July early Aug, we could be looking at the last chance to get in at these ridiculously low prices???

All true Salinger, but of course Valkor/Tomco (Greenfield) will be using the PQE technology and as such any QFI involvement is linked to PQE although not directly and any business agreement initially is likely to be between QFI and Greenfield.

I see Petroteq are arranging further capital raises including a hefty chunk from the Chairman. I wonder if he's 90 or 95% positive for the company's prospects?

Not looking for RNS. Simple statement from Tomco would do, "we've asked Ellen MacArthur to pop over and pick up the three barrels for delivery to QRF. She is expected to be here in 15 days and should be able to deliver 15 days later"

From RNS 14th June, now over 4 weeks ago;

"A sample of produced oil is also being prepared to be shipped to Quadrise Fuels International plc in the UK, for the purpose of assessing the suitability of the heavy sweet oil produced by the POSP for their emulsion process. It is expected that this sample will leave the US before the end of June 2021, with testing taking place over the coming months."

No news of dispatch or receipt. Why are they dragging their heels with this? QFI say they can test within 2-3 weeks, not coming months. Are Tomco still struggling to produce the quality of oil required??? All very ambiguous if you ask me.

"Greenfield Energy, Utah. Quadrise is still awaiting the receipt of oil samples at QRF from Greenfield Energy LLC ("Greenfield") as their programme for the start-up and commissioning of the Petroteq Oil Sands Plant ("POSP") at the Asphalt Ridge Facility in Utah, USA, was delayed and this work is still progressing. As previously noted, the availability of oil samples for testing at QRF is a critical path item on this programme, and sample testing will be completed within 2-3 weeks of receipt at QRF"

5 months + down the line and still no confirmation of receipt. So much for keeping us updated

If already received, why not post a simple tweet to say so and testing is underway. Nothing market sensitive there but it at least shows things are moving forward...

Is anyone else frustrated at the lack of news re. Utah samples. We have bee told three barrels would be shipped by end June yet neither confirmation of dispatch or receipt from Tomco or QFI. What's the hold up??? Maybe the office girl who issues the stamps is on holiday????

Or. possibly arguing over who pays for transit costs. These unnecessary delays or lack of news make my blood boil.

In the production of MSAR approximately 29% of the oil content is replaced by water, which I'm sure will be significantly cheaper than oil. The higher the oil price the greater the saving!!

I believe heavy residues are cut with diesel to make them viable for fuel use, hence the comparison becomes between water and diesel but as we all know by experience, the higher the oil price the higher the diesel price, ergo the rise in oil prices makes the MSAR case more compelling IMO.

Big sell @ 3.28p, on Friday afternoon just listed. I wonder if they're regretting it already???

Even better Indigo, a fraction of Pemex business would be huge for QFI.

Don't know much about the region, (need to read more!) but it seems they export a heap of crude but need to import gasoline, suggesting their refinery capabilities are limited. Could be exactly the right fit for QFI...

Another positive sign is the debt for equity swap announced by Petroteq last night. Arms length lender and Directors involved. Sure, they've got a discount against current price but a sign of a positive future for the share price IMO.

I guess they can extend again if it is proving to be successful as a demonstration site for potential future clients. Once the first 5,000 plant is operational, it will become the showpiece for the organisation...
