It's a bit ridiculous that some would be "investment expert" like Myles or Zak seem to be able to shift this SP up with a few sentences and very little "accurate" detail. Yet an in-depth and thorough presentation, (full of positive updates) followed by an open, concern-addressing Q&A session, has very little effect on the SP.

The fact the SP is below it's price 2 years ago and how much closer we are to commercial success, with a long-funding runway, IMO makes this a fantastic investment opportunity. The sub 5p days are numbered, get in while you can!!!!!

QS, with 554m shares in circulation, how does 200m give them control?

I agree they would be the major shareholder but well short of the 51% for "control"

In my earlier post, speculating whether Shell are involved in some behind the scenes activity around this potential low-sulphur, low carbon marine fuel bonanza, I did not know Mr Mutch had previous connections to Shell.

I'm struggling to make the leap of faith to the speculated Valkor involvment. To me the RNS reads as an oil producer involvement rather than an engineering/consultancy business.

Funding advanced to be repaid in oil offtake, again suggests an oil company as opposed to engineering????

My understanding was they had funding to see them through to H2 2022, although (ahem) acceleration of BioMsar trialling/projects may have caused an increased cash burn???

I read the RNS as bad news, although it does give mixed messages.

If Tomco can't raise $1.7m, how on earth will they be able to raise the remaining $18m for the 90% balance let alone the $100m+ to build the plant?

However, if this new development is a non-starter, why blow another $200,000 just to kick the can down the road for 6 weeks. Hence there must be a good chance of proceeding on that basis. Definitely could do with more info on the proposed funding deal and I sincerely hope it is an oil major who truly believe in the potential of the project.

The SP falls are unsurprising on the back of this as given the rise in the last few days, I was fully expecting a complete funding announcement this week.

Normally I would have expected a fall prior to the announcement, (in case it doesn't materialise or is delayed a further month) with a rise thereafter??

Unless of course "interested parties" are buying up the shares, or an info leak confirming this will go ahead has reached a buyer(s)...

I wonder if these "strategic partners" involvement have had anything to do with the buying activity and SP uplift on Tomco???

I notice QFI mentioned in the latest factsheet/commentary for this fund with the 40%+ August uplift one of the main contributors to returns.

QFI is now the 4th biggest holding in the fund at around 2.2%, which based on total value equates to an investment of approx £3.5m.

It will be interesting, (to me) to see how this develops depending on future SP valuations....

Sounds like the next step from the lawyer to lawyer engagements. Maybe the extended suspension of the stock is due to the Canadian exchange wanting information on the "behind the curtain" deal to satisfy themselves everything is pukka???

Perhaps the confidentiality agreement will allow for the potential bidder to be made known to TSX without a release to the general public?

I read Kurlyboy's post as inferring a commercial contract, where someone actually pays us for MSAR/BioMSAR on a commercial basis, not trial basis!

Given this has not happened in the past (AFAIK), a "bookie" instinct would be that no (commercial) contract remains the most likely outcome. Being heavily invested here, I still believe they will eventually get pen to paper with one of our trial partners. This of course, could open the floodgates to many more commercial contracts and the land of honey, (early retirement).

Well based on past performance of the BoD the favourite would be "no contract anywhere" although past performance is no guarantee of future results;-)

I suppose I could have waited for further falls but in my opinion sub 4p is a good price. Also, I am hoping for some big news announcements between now and the end of the year at which point (hopefully) 4p will be a distant memory.

Well that's me managed to reach my holy grail in this share, buying another 500,000 (2x 250,000) at just under 4p. I'm holding now for the long term and won't sell below 10p.
