DPS, with 4.5 million shares I think I can safely say, I'm behind them! Maybe too much behind them?

Just thought the video looked like a bit of an amateur show and not what I would have expected. Mind you, I am not talking from experience of these types of facilities....

Not in the least bit concerned with recent drop as I was "looking" for the share price to be 4.5-5.0p by end quarter 2. It has been nice to see recent rises but these appear to have been primarily on word of mouth, rather than progress reports on potential opportunities.

Panic suits the MMs and they will earn handsomely on any perceived snippets of bad news. As has been said, the Tomco Utah RNS will have very little effect on whether or not Quadrise ends up a valuable company in future. Much bigger fish to fry. The LTH know the prospects and potential but those who have recently joined on the recommendation of some shares guru, are far more likely to bail at the first sign of retraction.

We know only too well share prices do not go up and up and up. There will always be reverses. If you believe in the future on QFI, hold on tight and enjoy the ride....

FWIW, I became interested in crypto and decided to dip my toe in the water, investing £500 in an Etherium tracker in December 2017. Within a year it had dropped in value to around £85. Now worth over £1,600 but even if I wanted to HL have ceased the option to buy any more. Can hold or sell and I will do the latter for curiosity. It was easy for me to hold when value dipped as the sum involved was little, however, had I invested £50k, I would probably have panicked and sold out somewhere on the way down in 2018 and missed the huge growth since.

I guess what I'm trying to say is it is very volatile and comes with additional security risks, which when coupled with the lack of tangible assets leaves me thinking it's not for me.

Strangely Petroteq shares have taken a 10% hit. Does this mean the more adjustments add-ons and tweaks result in a lower "commission" to Petroteq for the original technology???

"I agree not unexpected to see this drop a bit after very strong rise and new cheap placing shares hitting market and being turned for a quick profit. Expect to see a further drop next week maybe to 4p level which should provide support before next leg up hopefully and a higher high."

Sounds like the kind of thing a MM wanting to buy shares on the cheap, or shorter might say!!!

No evidence of likely track down to 4p in fact the share price has been strong and stable. Very little drop in the offer price but the usual shenanigans going on with the spread and bid price, attempting to panic nervous holders into selling. Onwards and upwards....

Once again we see a ridiculous spread, (12.64%) with the bid price reduced to 5.22 which bears no resemblance to the actual prices traded. Are the MMs on the hunt for sellers?

And I have taken advantage by buying another 500,000 shares today. Strangely the 250,000 tranche is not showing though the 50,000 and 200,000 placed later are???

Correct, 7th May, my error. Reported sales do not look like Bergen though but you never know. Price dragged down by them for the last time and some might say, creating an opportune time to buy in???

I thought Bergen shares are not issued for trading until Monday?

The drop is not unexpected, especially as IMO the rise has been despite lack of solid progress and more to do with the word spreading. This will inevitable have brought in many "short-termers" who are looking to bank their profits and get out.

The fundamentals remain the same and as projects progress and/or further good news is forthcoming, the share price should move northwards.

To be fair, a refinery in the general area of the client's (OCP?) major plants could be beneficial as the MSAR could be manufactured there, although like you, I doubt if he has been anywhere near this supposed refinery.

On the subject of Morocco, if the client is OCP, being majorly owned by the Govt could see many more avenues for the use of MSAR/BIOMSAR across the country. Who knows how many other businesses the Gov is involved in. If they truly believe in the benefits of MSAR, they could incentivise businesses to adopt it, or even legislate to increase MSAR use via carbon taxes etc

Typical of sites offering some sort of service free. They need to make money through adverts. Doubt very much you can switch off. I too get frustrated by them at times

I think when/if Greenfield ever get into full scale production, (at least 1 x 5,000 bopd unit) there could well be a mini QFI lab on site to monitor the oil produced and tweak where necessary the added ****tail for MSAR production. QFI will want to ensure the MSAR offering is consistent and where slight differences occur, there will be no bearing on quality, efficiency and operational effects of using the fuel.

The Moroccan client's Industrial Trial is taking place at a different site to the original trial. Perhaps that's where Site B has come from. From memory, I think the eventual commercial trial was destined for the original site, hence there could be delays with logistics and setting up of equipment at the new site (B?)

I'm guessing they're still having issues with quality/consistency of processed oil. I expect Tomco will be eager to trumpet the news that they've achieved their goal and proved the system works by sending the samples asap.

The lack of news on this front leads me to believe they're not there yet...

@Wonga - what does Petroteq have to do with QFI? Sorry I should perhaps know, but don't, so I'm asking...

A company called Greenfield, (JV between Tomco and Valkor) are attempting to produce oil from oil sands in Utah. They are using Petroteq's technology and processes to produce said oil. There is then the intention to treat some/all of this oil with QFI technology to produce MSAR potentially ready for end users, without the need for refining.

If it comes off, all companies involved should make significant profits....here's hoping.

Tomco following QFI up, surely only a matter of time before Petroteq follow suit? Or is that too simplistic a view????

The SP on 11th Feb, when last Bergen funding was announced, was 3.32p. IMO a conversion price of 3.20 is perfectly reasonable and I expected much lower. The 16m+ shares is just over 1% of those in issue and even if they sold out completely, would have little effect.
