Yep, all those lovely shares locked away in sticky fingers till the end game - good show.

Its a nice position to be in thats for sure, everything changed now since the good old 9.5p days.

Why would anyone sell ? (apart from daily traders trying to make a quik buck or a couple of extra shares)

The field seem prolific & massive, we are just at the beginning of the upwards curve.

I fully expect almost every drill (90%) put into the ground around CPO-5 now will hit pay dirt, provide large productions & reinforce the larger field scope, granted it will take the outlying new wells to prove this fully & they maybe a little more hit or miss in targeting the outskirts of the field.

Our BOD seem to be throwing alot at proving up the field hypothisis which is as I would want & hopefully the indians can do abit more in 2019 to get field size pinned down a little more.

On the smaller chips side our new pipeline farm out agreements will provide a little cash boost (even tho we got loads already) & OXY will hopefully be out & about identifying & drilling our none core blocks (while we focus on CPO-5).

All this will provide tonnes of RNS's going forward with the vast majority of a positive nature.

Whilst we all know our aging BOD will have an eye on the exit & the potential massive Sale of the company.

What a safe haven to have stored my cash in, in this turbulent world.

As a medium length term big supporter on here, I love the optimism & am onboard to the maximum however as a balanced poster on here we do need to have one eye on the negatives.

My only glaring one being do we have enough time to reach all our objectives re production, CPO-5 reserves, OXY development & ultimately takeover before the next recession ?

What will a recession do to us, how badly will it effect us & how fast will it impact onto share value.

And ultimately should the board go full out to crystalise all these assets into share value short term(ie..to beat any recession) rather than await (maybe)larger longterm crystalization & risk of recession devaluation.

Bear in mind the BOD age, I am sure they will want to get out faster vs slower, after all the closer you are to retirement the more derisked you should be becoming(& this will equally apply to our BOD).

Hargreaves Lansdown marks Amerisur up at 14.02p at close, I carnt quite believe it, some right bollocks goin on or system error ?

Hedging super low oil prices using the pipe.

In that :-

We could cut our own production to nil, fill up stock holding areas & preserve reserves whilst waiting out any unusual low oil prices (in these more volatile times), whilst acquiring new or valuing onto the Balance Sheet existing reserves to push share price growth.

All the while renting out the pipe to others for cash generation to keep us ticking over.

Then, when the Oil price rises produce at full speed.

Its not like the BOD havent done this strategy before (obviously im not expecting prolonged low oil prices but you never what the future holds).

Whilst the other indebted oilers collapse the steady income & cash pile can be brought to bear, + in a such a low price environment our pipe may be the only cost effective means of exit.

Just musings feel free to ignore....

Nice little bolt on in line with recent RNS, would love to know the % tariff, but neway good use of idling/not full capacity assets & 15yrs of steady no risk income.

TBH I dont know what the fuss is here, its not like the land gets strip mined or delogged.

Dig a relatively small footprint hole, place a small footprint pipe, make the odd road & extract for a few years, when its all pumped out the forrest reclaims the lot & the locals tell stories to their kids of all the paid work they used to get, without relocating to a big city.

Sadly the Brexit crud arrived above it, so wanted to promote the post more.

Honestly perhaps they couldn't stomach putting all the green shoots talk in the same parcel as all the crud, it may have made them look like they weren't taking there prior dire performance issues seriously.

Maybe they will hold onto there good news till we have forgotten the bad & use it as a spring board foward ?

Dunno.

But

Brand Awarness & Social media figure growth etc...are very temporary (its all yesturdays news, esp if they have been peddling old stock lines for a couple of months) in our modern world & will need constant reinforcement to translate into cash.

Guess what, that reinforcement (even with a paid for media campaign) will cost cash & to me thats the key ingrediant that may deceide the future of the business, do they have deep enough pockets to keep there Brand alive & the skills to turn it into a profit making business.

Dont know.

I wouldn't say waiting for it to fall lower before getting in (tho I ofc see why you are saying that), I firmly believe this is a boom or bust senario (much like my oil exploration stocks for that matter) & tbh I dont have a clue which way it will go.

Therefore im not awaiting a price point for entry (as even if low the whole lot could be a bust so what does it matter).

I personally am awaiting enough positive indications to occur that the bust wont happen at all & then invest no matter the price.

The positive indicators are just to flimsy & often based on abusable viewing figures etc.. I what some good old financial discipline, a proper eye on the bottom line & cashflow improvements to support company value (vs perceived value)

Esp if these guys still got no oil.

O well fastest finger wins the race.

You have had months of barely challenged ramp on Koov's Jambon, in that time frame how many have made decent profits & yet (per the financials) skirted very close to losing all their cash.

Im not saying this share doesn't offer the huge gains you spout about (the loss potential is equally huge), but it damn well needs to show some tangible (financial) improvements before its the front runner to give us all early retirement.

I dont hate the share im interested in it (just wary is all)

Im with Pasha on this one (but im still sitting on the sidelines so I expect that is expected)

The cash burn rate worries me the most about Koov's.

The financials really show how bad the company is at present & all the positives appear on the distant horizen.

Will the cash outflows last till the turnaround occurs, or will they just get swallowed up in the restructure (becauce the current structure clearly doesn't work).

Its much safer to sit on the sidelines & watch this one, if it shows signs of dragging itself out of its grave then (despite the awkward buying of shares issues & missed early profits) there will be plenty of time to back this dead donkey before it becomes a Racehorse.

It'll take a cold day in Hell b4 I sell @ 13.5p or below, ive followed this down all the way to 9.5p so this troubles me not at all.

Bring it MM's one day the shoe will be on the other foot.

I maybe wrong but a similar pattern as yesturday, MM's drop the prices (under cover of oil price slips) encourage a few to sell (hoping to start an avalanche(which is resisted by most)) & then bang in the AT buys to lock them out.

Its the new game in town.

They know they need those share when the re-rate comes.

Agreed price crashes atm are just MM manipulation, they are still trying to fill all the low ball orders & they can only do it if you sell.

No indications of low flow rates, therefore no reason to sell at a low (vs the potential imminent highs)

Some nice early buys there, the MM must have had Work Experience Tuesday to sell at those prices :)

Big spread usuually indicates they are shutting the shop & dont wanna sell any.

But first thing is always volatile.

No one doubting any of that (in fact ive banged on about all that at 10p unlike some)

Was actually just trying to see the trend changes.

Just saying, shorters have been plagueing this share for ALONG time now, its rare to see them getting caught out, another sign of changes - esp if the AT trades now support the share vs drag it down as before.
