TBH I just dug around my other accounts found another £5k doing not much & lobbed it in, can always get it out again after news.

Didn't intend to put more in, but well......

Perhaps if I pretend im a director of Amerisur & ill just hold my shares as long as they do it'll help.

I did go full tilt, but only through trying to average down from my mistimed (pre N Sands) buy in at 15p.

I wish in hindsite id been a little more cautious at that time.

Funnily enough tho if id used a reduced investment strategy at that time & watched my 15p shares collapse to 9.5p (on production fears at the time) I carnt help but wonder would I have gone in full with the rest of my portfolio on what was looking like a high risk share.

My current issue is how do I cope with investing for the next (potentially) 2 years with 95% of my portfolio, whilst not tinquering with it (im no day trader).

I believe my only chance may be an induced coma or some sort (with instructions to the misses to wake me up on sale of the company).

I agree, would rather the shares get a little tighter.

It can only help reduce the MM games which do plague this share + its unexpected & will catch out shorters (the more caught out they get with the share the more likely they will move onto softer targets imo).

Also anything which helps boost the SP in any way to put off takeover thoughts is welcome until we are ready for such.

Some up front cash will likely be needed to help with the infrastructure build around CPO 5, all these wells will need suitable storage & other facilities developing (even at 30%) to reach potential productions, so until more is known from the new wells I think the purse strings will be kept tight.

I feel sorry for the 100k sale at 19p this morning sitting out there all alone, while the share price moves on.

May as well of had a nice lie in bed & saved themself some cash.

That should speak volumes of the lack of Brexit impact on this share & why it should never get bought up here (sorry for bringing it up :).

Buy stock or dont its your call, but at least dont turn up out of the blue with the same old shit about local indians every post, honestly I wouldn't even know their were locals except for your post they currently appear that LOW key.

Didn't see Presidente mention them either on his tweets so you know what ill ignore them as well for now.

I mean the rating dated 8/1/19 as 20p.

What a joke this is, they had 18.5p at July 2018.

1.5p movement since then on all the developments, it makes you wonder what dodgy dealing these guys do behind the scenes, because that carn't be considered a professional valuation uplift surely.

I already had a baptism of fire in Amerisur over this last 6months, since I determined the undervalued position(correctly) & went in quite heavy just prior to N Sands(an error should have gone 50% before results & 50% after) I wasn't at all expecting the drop to 9.5p (as I felt it was already undervalued prior to N Sands).

On the good side I held my nerve down at 9.5p & added (correct decision supported by my belief in undervalued assets)

Clearly at these 19p levels im now alot more derisked even tho I still havent sold & am in good profit.

However I never saw the Oxy deal coming (I thought CPO-5 would be good) so I am a very lucky (not much skill, tho at least I didnt sell on the low) investor.

I am still convinced my money could'nt at present be in a better stock for value (for whats thats worth) & am therefore continuing to hold my full position.

Also I am picking up better investing strategies (I quite like Leas approach of 3 tranches - if I had done that I would be in alot stronger position than I am now)

Maybe, but a think quite a few blue buys are actually sells incorrectly classified.

I expect alot will be keeping some dry powder till the Q4 production figures are out, hoping that it'll drop the price & offer a good entry point (which if it does I think folk will have to act fast to get in low, as after that its all blue sky).

Waiting for this potential low is also a risk as who knows what juicy news might be mixed into the production figures(which may not be bad) as I carnt see the BOD wanting any reductions in SP now & going forward.

I no we usually value these wells as reserve uplifts onto the share price, but I wonder what pence value per well the above statement would suggest & how many production years it is reasonable to counted in the calculation (say 5 or 10 yrs)

You would think that Amerisur a business run in $ & only converted to £ for the financial statements would be a safe haven from Brexit.

Firstly the general business is completly immune from Brexit.

Secondly a crash out of Europe will only colapse the £ value vs $, & therefore increase the Balance sheet conversion.

So really its only risk is there is some mass panick, withdrawal of funds unilaterally across all stocks & we just get caught up in it imo.

Hopefully they are adding just enough suger news, to offset any bitter production news.

Actually I believe im thinking things about nothing , you are correct the Corp Tax will be on profits not reserve uplifts therefore wont effect till the oil is sold.

Strictly I missed off some ????, re im asking What are the tax implications of large reserves onto the balance sheet, I am unsure.

If it is only Corporation Tax couldn't it wipe out the cash pile quite quickly ? (therefore dont we need to save the cash ready for it, wont it restrict what sort of level of reserves we start putting onto the accounts ?).

I mean Corp Tax on sizable reserves will need to be paid quarterly in advance wont it ?

Im ignoreing royalties as they will be matched to sales income.

Just saying there may become alot of demands on that cash pile, before the full field is valued onto the balance sheet (esp with CPO 5 costs to develope at 30%) & they will want the field onto the balance sheet sharpish to prevent low ball takeovers imo.

I no we have a massive cash pile, but if the CPO 5 reserves are as large as we hope for & they start arriving on the balance sheet, what are the short term tax implications ie.. will our cash pile be used up paying tax on reserve uplifts(dont get me wrong its hardly a bad problem to deal with).

But it might be another reason to doubt any share buy back/dividend/or none Oxy exploration spends.

My only remaining doubt is the 1/4 production figures (or more importantly the games the MM's will play based on bad ones) however our BOD could easily lob in a new rig to Sol, or a farm out agreement on the pipe to sweeten the last imo bad pill.

TBH tho I dont really care nemore about the current production figures, its all about CPO 5 (+Oxy news) for me now, gimmi reserves, new wells, future production & ultimately a buy out & after all that I might sell some (or await the buy out).

Next week might therefore might go either way but the future is golden, besides I was here at 9.5p so MM's will have to play some serious games till I get worried.

Think the PI's put a huge effort on Weds/Thurs to shift this past 20p & couldn't, we are a spent force till news.

Equally so many more shares held now at 20p+ coupled with excellent company prospects means no one selling.

So screw you MM's enjoy your no sale day, its your own fault for overmanipulation.

This high is almost better than my last year big event (listening to Margot Robbie read a quote from a fan & i will quote it " Margot Robbie needs a tongue punch in the fart box" it still makes me chuckle (obviously if my wife ever reads this my actually 2018 high was the birth of my little lad))

Its quite an addictive watch.
