Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Supply@ME is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Amy Benning as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 7 June. Ms Benning will join from Alfa Financial Software Holdings plc, a UK main market listed company. Prior to this she spent 12 years at PwC London where she specialised in UK capital raising transactions, M&A and IPOs for a range of clients.

Usuall_right - the Nasdaq is making a comeback a lot of the big investors are rotating out of cyclicals as a lot of the recovery is priced in and then PE’s of big tech are now more affordable.

Seems to have settled nicely at the current price

Not too sure if it’s to be taken literally but the company has plenty of running costs. Such as staff and director wages, the technology costs (SIA chain, etc), I would expect legal costs to be quite heavy in getting the framework, contract drawing, etc. Plus if we’re working closely with the big four they will bill you for everything. Then there is the small matter of the future acquisition.

F - how do you think the wages get paid?

Poor - if I could wind back a week I probably wouldn’t have subscribed. Large ESG concerns which I stupidly ignored have experience in how they can hold a share back from my Boohoo holding.

In much better shape financially than Doordash in the states which has a huge valuation.

The sad thing is almost all my UK shares are up which hasn’t happened much this year and the US looks like it will start strong.

Hi Poor. The run up in the last week or so has been a carbon copy of December RNS for me.

I’ve always fought against OTT ramping, more so than deramping (as Parm always points out). At least Extrader, Holly, etc, point out what the potential pitfalls are in the model - their agenda is more than clear. They don’t think this will work.

What does the relentless ramping achieve and what is the agenda? Unicorns, rockets, countless top ups (I suspect don’t happen), £1 parties, TRD, etc. Are people just getting carried away?

I’m waiting to see what this re-rates at and if it’s above my average 0.465 I’m taking something off the table. I’ve got a tranche at 0.34 as well if it doesn’t quite get there which will give me a profit and leave the rest to run.

The gross originations are like peeling an onion. The more layers that come off the more they are not what they appear. For me this kind of accounting for prospective customers (or not) has caused confusion and with today’s caveat that this number now includes companies which won’t even be funded and blown a great big hole in the business case for me.

Plus the funders clearly hold all the strings here .... if it takes this long to get one funder on board, which if I’ve read this correctly now requires the captive bank to be up and running, which is still going through approval so by no means certain, how long will it take to get more funders on board?

The lesson I have learnt from using CFDs is don’t use them on small caps.
