RE: Primary bid9 Apr 2021 07:51
This is from the FAQs:
Do I need a stockbroking account to use PrimaryBid and participate?
No. You will not need a stockbroking account to participate in the Deliveroo offer. However, if you do have an account, you will be invited to enter them during the application process. If you are successfully allocated shares they will be transferred to your nominated account after Deliveroo’s shares are officially admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange. Please note that shares can only be transferred to general investment and trading accounts, rather than ISAs or SIPPs due to HMRC rules.
If you do not have a stockbroking account you will still be able to apply for shares.
Successful applicants without a stockbroking account can have shares held in a Corporate Sponsored Nominee account (“CSN”), provided by Equiniti Financial Services Limited (“Equiniti”). Shares can be held for free in this CSN, however there will be a fee if you wish to buy or sell shares, or transfer them to another broker. Deliveroo has negotiated a reduced fee of £5 per trade for the first year from the date of admission (i.e. the fee you pay to buy or sell shares) and £5 to transfer to another broker. (If you enter your nominated broker details during the application process then there will be no charge for that transfer).
