Been back to next for the third time today to pick up my coat ….

I just asked my wife if she would wear a 60p lipstick.

You don’t seem to have any concept of consumer tastes or aspiration. Primark, Aldi, Lidl, etc serve a certain type of customer, no doubt they do it very well. But not everyone wants to shop at the bottom. My local M&S food hall is always busy just like Aldi.

When my wife goes out on a night out she’s not rushing to primark. She’s ordering off Boohoo, Asos and Zara. The default position is online. We use Primark for kids cloths (which are very good) and I use their t-shirts to sleep in.

I’ve had ggp in my bottom drawer for the last year or so. Stupidly didn’t slice into the 30’s but was confident it was a waiting game and something decent is brewing. I’ve been averaging down and last bought at 16p so glad to be in profit again.

So after having a look at what happening with Boohoo and Ocado after results I’m going to do something I have never done before and am going to hedge my position on Tuesday with a sell CFD to freeze my position and try and find the bottom so I can take advantage back on the way up.

I’ve managed to order my two pairs of shoes online now.

So spent most of the morning travelling to two different Nexts for two pairs of shoes and a coat and have come back empty handed.

Both stores had very poor stock, got to come back tomorrow to collect my coat which they have ordered online.

My online order from Ted Baker arrived yesterday without a hitch.

We also click and collected a car seat from Halfords today with no fuss.

Tbf to him he dies make some good points. It’s his underlying thesis that online shopping is doomed and bricks and mortar retail is the future that’s completely ridiculous. Along with the idea that ABF is some kind of stella investment when a look at the daily chart shows you it’s been in serious decline for years.

It’s his attitude and disrespect for the posters here that completely stinks. I still think he’s a student because some of the stuff he comes out with give away the fact that he is not a wisened investor. Claims to be earning the big bucks yet shops at primark. He must be a joy to live with! The kids will be excited for Xmas.

The spread is usually around 5p.

I’ve only ever seen it at 1p that I can recall and I took the opportunity to move into my ISA.
