Good to see evidence today from Asos that some of the challenges that have been facing online might be starting to ease. The results in line with guidance and conditions do not seem to have got any worse. That’s a win in my book and the market seems to agree.

You have a very strange and one track way of analysing economic data. It’s like you don’t believe the swollen middle classes exist. Just because you want it doesn’t mean it’s so.

Hi Dan - we don’t know if ASOS dress mix was particularly high like Boohoo.

Dan is it not just that dresses are more likely to be returned (my wife will buy three and send two back) and our mix of dresses sold is now higher as a proportion of our total income, hence returns % increases.

That’s how I read it rather than quality issues.

This is the point that I was making to Kallu Dan. Folk don’t just buy outfits for office parties, it’s a bit of a cliche.
