Thanks Fulmar.... I didn't think it would be as simple to find as searching on Google - must be my decrepit age !!!
Request for advice, please. I use X-O as my broker who as I think you know will no longer handle TILS shares when they delist on AIM / re-list on NASDAQ. Can anyone explain or provide a link as to what exactly happens to my (admittedly meagre) shareholding after X-O provide me with a certificate of shareholding and what actions I can / should take once the shares are listed on NASDAQ?
CFWH re "I'M ON THE XO XO PLATFORM. HOW DO I VOTE NO? ANYou HELP APPRECIATED!"...
I'm also on the X-O platform and I don't recall ever having been informed or invited to vote on any resolution in any of my shares (e.g. including BP). Can only suggest that you contact X-O directly, if you think your vore would make a difference / be worthwhile?
DP, re "Obtaining another gypsum stack site .....". Do you know of other gypsum stack sites (in Africa)? Just wondered how commonplace gypsum extraction was???
Good find, Phantom, many thanks - very interesting.
Anyone expecting this share to drop below £5 is on a different to me. I think all the runes are pointing towards an EJ recovery in the medium term. Just my opinion of course.
Bantu, I was having a look thinking I needed to top up and had a look at https://www.lse.co.uk/FinanceDiary.asp?shareprice=MRO&share=Melrose
Actually Bantu.. the Special Ex-Dividend Date was 26-Aug-2021 according to the LSE website
Nolupus re "Farn is in discussions to do a partnership with big pharma , imo"
I would agree and also think this would be the lowest cost route to market.
Thanks for that clear & concise explanation Kitze. Much appreciated
Thanks Sir_D. I would imagine that validating that will be CHALLENGING!
Re "imagine if you can prove virus protection is from your vaccine and not from natural immunity" ...
Don't know how the hell you're going to do that???
Personally speaking I'd rather read the opinions of people e.g. like ndn offering different perspectives, rather than the incessant ramping which seams to be commonplace amongst these boards.
Kaeren, I think what the "Baggie" means is that is the day trader buys at 300p and then the SP moves up to e.g. 345p, and he sells, then he will have made is 10 - 15% profit and actually I think yesterday we had something like an 18 - 19 % increase.
Re "Let's completely forget about the £54 ". I also agree. Frankly I'd be happy if we stayed "blue" today, given that nearly all my other shares are in the red!
Re "What the govt testing rule actually says is that you can not use the NHS+packaged LFT because you have no way to report the result yourself."
Additionally, the test result would not be independently verifiable.
Re "I'd be surprised if half of the postal pcr tests ever actually get processed."
On what basis are you making that remark? I'd be fascinated to see if you have any evidence???
DP, re "kicking out mining companies is shooting themselves in the foot". It's horrible thought, but an alternative MIGHT be to say to the Chinese "Come on down" ...
DP RE "The recovery rate was 70%, they haven't updated us with an improved figure. It is time dependent, increasing the acid soak time increases the recovery rate. Also using different acids maybe more effective but they used what was onsite."
I think we may need to accept that there is a finite economic recovery rate and 70% +/- may be about the limit. My (limited) understanding is Sulphuric acid is in site / nearby. I suspect that other acids are not geographically feasible and may lead to less desirable by-products. Just my thoughts.
