Hi, out of interest, which broker did the new share placement?
I can only echo and state "Thanks for the research and insight GLR1990". Much appreciated.
Which other FTSE listed companies mine / process REEs? As I understand it, only China has the capability to produce REE metals from ore - is that correct? And if so, presumably somebody must build a plant in "the West" to do the same thing?
I agree JJ, obviously ?? there are a number of investors who see Avacta as having a "better offering" than NCYT. Anyone care to provide a sensible comment. I'm invested in both and I've also done a small top up in NCYT today.
Hi Ste, if you have a look the the list of RNS' I think you'll find the answer.
I think that those who choose not to have the vaccine, that's their choice (its a free country). However I can foresee that the airlines / cruise ships making a policy decision that without a vaccine + test they won't let you board. Just my thoughts.
Sorry, but no complaints from me - I did a SMALL top up. IMO, the only people who are complaining are those who ACTUALLY want to sell. Otherwise, just hold onto the ride.
Re "I see Pfizer increased their number to 95% now" ... There's nothing sinister in that. Its normal practice to a) underestimate efficacy and b) to re-review data. Of course if you want to believe the virus is caused by the 5G network, that's up to you.
Hey Naewise re "A previous poster said that Van -Tam would NOT be taking the vaccine which is simply untrue -- England's Deputy Chief Medical Officer has said if he could, he would be at the front of the queue to be the first to get the Covid-19 vaccine.
Professor Jonathan Van-Tam said he has "absolute trust" in the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)."
Don't start bringing FACTS on here, FGS !!!!
Re "It’s a global pandemic with or without vaccine"
If the vaccine is effective (and SURELY) we should ALL hope it should be, then it ceases to be a pandemic.....
If some of you guys want to dismiss / disparage the news of the Pfizer vaccine, you are of course perfectly at liberty to do so. I appreciate that it is early days, however I'm inclined to believe and accept that this will be a life changing event, particularly when (using admittedly a small sample) it has a 90% success rate.
rE "I wouldn't be surprised if this virus doesn't wipe us all out in a couple of decades. "
Key - rist Frankly there is SO much negative talk on this board about the vaccine - see the bigger picture guys.... Yes we (including myself) may have lost paper / real money, but if this vaccine works (AND there is NO reason to suppose it won't), then we have got our LIVES back....
Re "War Chest from sale of Romania has been spent on duo of SME merchant card leasing firms in £70m acquisitiont to acquire Handepay and Merchant Rentals"
As you predicted back in October, SB - well done.
Re "Biden or Trump have their positives for us too."
Just taking into account the REE market, which do you think will have the most positive, of those two?
Absolutely brilliant news. I don't have many of these shares, but I'm in this one for the LT
Yes Ham, I'm only showing one blue share today (RBW). Never mind there's always tomorrow .....
I can't complain about the dip in the SP - I took advantage and did a VERY small top up.
Personally I dont see anything encouraging in the RNS release today:
"On 8 October 2020, the Company announced that as a result of Seafox International Limited's recent actions, having taken advice from its financial adviser and having sought feedback from its corporate brokers, it is currently impracticable to proceed with the Equity Raise and that, therefore, there is no reasonable prospect that the Equity Raise can be completed prior to the end of 2020.
In the absence of the Equity Raise, and if the Warrants are not issued by 31 December 2020, the Company will be in default under its bank facilities. If the Lenders enforce their rights, the Company could be put into administration and shareholders could lose the entire value of their investment."
Gruff, you possibly have a better idea of how many sharks might be circling in the water around GMS and I truly hope you are right when you hope for something sensible to be the outcome. Personally I've seen very little sense in what SF have done recently (e.g. hokey kokey with the board). I've sold my meagre holding for a small loss, but will continue to watch with interest.
I suspect SF will be happy to see GMS fall into the hands of a liquidator and then pickup the assets / business commitments for peanuts. I have to say the way that SF have handled this leaves a nasty taste.
