TiT - good post & interesting...
re "We are on AIM. This is a junior market with less restrictions than the main trading exchanges, this means it is by it's very nature "high risk" and shares will rise and fall far more dramatically than in the FTSE. But isn't this what everyone is here for?"
I wonder if the Bod are / will in the near future move on from AIM onto e.g. the FTSE?
Whimax re "You do realise that MMs read these bb to garner sentiment in a stock don’t you."
I'd be interested to know what evidence you have for that. Personally I would have thought they gain their knowledge much closer to the source?
Thanks Deas.
Genuine question ..... The last SP high was in October 2020 (1194p), but within 5 days it had dropped almost 30% to 850. Anyone care to speculate as to why - just profit taking? or something else?
EXMEX, re "The job itself is permanent and only three hour's a day, which might make recruitment more difficult "
Not necessarily, it might suit a (recently) retired Molecular Biology scientist, who would want to boost his income or perhaps a parent with school children?
Mendi, as you have stated "I am new to this forum" ... re "How are the predictions posted here of £15, £26 and £45 arrived at?"..
I'm reminded of the old disco song (yes, I'm that old) ... "push pineapple, shake a tree" The VAST majority of the predictions on ALL of these boards would make "Septic Peg" blush
My main concern with REEs is that as far as I am aware (and PLEASE correct me if I am wrong), is that China has a monopoly?? on the equipment / means to turn the REE concentrate into the actual metals used for manufacturing.
Squidge, I this that you are being negatively selective with your statement " Confirmed they are doing 2 full doses. So that's only 62% effective."
"Factually", the BBC report is...
"There are three figures doing the rounds - 62%, 70% and 90%.
The first analysis of the trial data showed 70% of people were protected from developing Covid-19 and nobody developed severe disease or needed hospital treatment.
The figure was just 62% when people were given two full doses of the jab and 90% when they were first given a half dose and then a full one."
1st time I've returned to this board for ages and lo and behold whose name do I see...... I have to say that I stayed away from this BB because I go so fed up with his constant incessant ridiculous ramping. I'm still a shareholder of Farn, but only in small way and I'm in a loss position at the moment.....
Thanks for your response Shaun - agree with your sentiments!
Shaun, re "So please look on the positive side" ....
I wasn't being negative. I was merely trying to provide some factual information.
Re "Not sure how long after the second jab anybody has to wait to get full benefit of both jabs," ...
My understandings(!!) is that "full immunity" will not occur until at least 21 days after the 2nd injection.
Re "I'm sure the scientist busy bodies are right now trying to verify this. I reckon the vaccine will be less effective," ..
Glass half full or perhaps in your case completely empty !!!
Thanks Gavster - I can see & understand your logic. Given the likely scenarios, I have topped up.
Nico, can I assume that you've already bought this to the attention of George Bennett, CEO??? If not .....
Just wondering if anyone had an opinion as to what the effect of a No Deal Brexit might have on the SP?
MMCQ re "your link has a virus" ....
Ohhhhhh the irony !!!
Re "Hopefully I see 600 again"
I guess that depends on a) whether you believe in Father Christmas or
b) How long you've got to live .....
Re "this time next year 80p to 120p"
Can I have some of what you're eating / drinking / smoking. please????
re "as most investors are in this for the medium to long term." ... IMO, anyone who is not in this share for the medium to long term, has not understood the market.
