With Half Yr results published and summer holiday season coming to a close my mind wanders back to previous management statements - desire to complete another acquisition in qtr 3 - could mean we see sp replicate its growth trajectory with a similar slope to last year - especially if an acquisition was to further diversify the revenue stream - just the trick needed to get a re-rating - could easily see us almost doubling in sp in the next 12-18 months like we did last yr. perhaps ...we will know in due course if they did .....I think the whole way they calc buy/sell is arbitrary on these sites - in the real world there is a buyer for every seller and visa versa - the only important issue is the price direction post the trade - up/down or sideways - that is the sentiment to me it looks like it was up a little for what was a very large trade

Positive sounding from California might just make AEK rethink that short position before they get squeezed any further - my math says they are down about £4mn or so on this trade....ouch !!!! A close-out buy of 11mn shares is probably worth another 10-20% on the sp - that puts us knocking on the door of 500p - and who knows maybe we also get an approach to boot at a premium of 25-30% - could finish the second half very strongly !!! I still think JL and team have been v quiet on their future plans compared to previous years - which may just indicate that things are at a very advanced stage - GLA

ITs looking like California are going to vote on an amended bill that addresses the bad actor issues that have blocked the bill up to now........should that go through then I firmly believe sp could rise towards 800p in fairly quick order as on-line gambling would be seen as significantly less risky.... We have until the 31st August before California legislature breaks for the presidential elections The real gains to be made here are in the long term potential of being debt free with $250mn profits per annum growing at 25-50% p.a. - We could easily be worth £5bn in a little over 12-18mnths excluding acquisitions !! And there is always the risk that someone spots this and makes an unexpected opportunistic bid now Skrill is fully absorbed and integrated watch this space !! GLA

They were short 1.62% so close to 8m shares - on my math that is a £2m loss this morning for them 0 that is going to hurt and subject to their risk management policy they might be forced to close or at least reduce. Volumes so far do not indicate that they have materially closed their short - but the day is young - they are now facing a "short squeeze" - and that could result in a spike in volumes and -price over the next few days and may just help to hit new highs - GLA

FY2016 PAT =$200 = £157 =. PE of 13 Cash flow generation =. free of debt in a little over 12 months Lots of upside to come with US online gambling in 2016/17 At these levels there is plenty in the tank for SP to be re-rated to have a 50% premium to current sp - I would not be surprised if we saw brokers update their target sp in the coming days/weeks to somewhere close to £6 possibly £7

the Directors have made their statements via their wallets and management have been very quiet, which tells me they must be pretty busy on something - would not be surprised if they announce a major acquisition/merger/jv along with the half yr results......GLA

might we also get news of an acquisition come 10 August - they did say an acquisition would come in Qtr 3 2016 and Skrill looks to have been materially integrated - with very little in the way of news or updates including from Deutsche as joint broker ? The Board et al have all been so quiet of late ( bar buying up large number of shares) that I do think something has been pre-occupying them....... roll on the 10th
