If we have another pandemic - Trump's administration will ignore it, and probably import Russian vaccines on the quiet. There's a huge amount of Russian influence in the U.S. at this time. There's no 'special relationship'. America is in chaos.

Trump is 'no ally' and involved in a quid-pro-quo with Putin. Those who are following Farage are also to blame. People need to wise up - Britain is nothing to Putin or Trump - and, IMO, is surly nothing without being part of the EU.

Much of the UK's defence systems and strategy is tied into the U.S. Now, we are up the creek as Trump is 'no ally' and involved in a quid-pro-quo with Putin. QQ is heavily U.S focussed making this share difficult to gauge. IMO, Trump is clearly on Russia's side, as echoed by Rory Stewart. Closer links with the EU is imperative - Starmer needs to tell the tyabout Brexit. I won't be buying here anymore.

I think maybe some people, albeit few, are worth millions - or should have been anyway.

Plausibly, shifting focus to Australia is a prudent strategy for managing the challenges in the UK market - at least until the CMA investigation is resolved.

No problem with increasing salary if performance follows. There must be confidence in the outlook IMO. Most analyst evaluations suggest that GSK's stock is currently undervalued. The average 12-month price target stands around 1,789.19 pence. Notably, GSK has increased its long-term sales outlook, projecting more than £40 billion by 2031, which suggests the pay award is justified and the sp target should be much higher than the average prediction.

Most of us want to live in a meritocracy, s/w, that's not in question.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives are not about lowering standards or placing unqualified people in jobs, but about ensuring that opportunities are accessible to all, regardless of background. A true meritocracy can only exist when systemic barriers that disadvantage certain groups are removed. Historically, many capable individuals have been overlooked due to biases in hiring and promotion processes. DEI programs help level the playing field by broadening the talent pool and ensuring that hiring decisions are based on actual ability rather than unconscious biases or structural inequalities. Instead of opposing DEI, businesses and governments should see it as a means to enhance meritocracy by ensuring everyone has a fair shot at success.

The present U.S. administration is, IMO, sounding what can only be perceived as history's 'alarm bells'. If it's allowed to carry on unchallenged it could easily descend into book-burning!!
