Trouble is those leavers are the wrong ones. Share prices on the London market have fallen 2% this morning to below where they were at the start of this century. Just think about that and let it it sink in.

Liz Truss - now the the PM - got 31.6% of the votes of MPs in their final ballot for the leadership of the Conservative Party on 20 July (Rishi Sunak got 38.3%). So less than a third of Conservative MPs voted for her. The woman is a gambler and is trashing the economy.

Trussonomics Is gambling with un-costed borrowing. This is not a political view it’s fact.

Hilarious, the lows are market reaction to the UK government’s un- costed borrowing. Something they used, wrongly, to accuse the opposition of!
Besides, Putin doesn’t want to die either. Putin, as mad as he is, understands that St. Petersburg; Novosibirsk; Yekaterinburg; Kazan; Nizhny Novgorod; Chelyabinsk; Samara; Omsk, and by no means least Mosco - will all be next.

sw, I hope you’re right on inflation coming down. It’s pretty grim at the moment with crash and continued recession seemingly highly plausible. Personally I still think the UK government’s un-costed borrowing has given the market the jitters to say the least. If there’s any detail to come, and one would hope so, maybe a bounce will follow. I’m no fan of any Conservative government as you’ve probably guessed. But, if we had to have them one would have preferred Sunak at the helm!

I’m not too bothered about the sp, although I am under my average a little . I’m patient , prepared for the long haul, and still confident with this one

Chancellor's statement this morning followed share prices in London to diving down 2%, or much more in some cases. Investors aren’t too happy - and the pound fell a further 3% against the dollar to now, $1.09.
Not a convincing vote of confidence by people who will largely pay a lot less tax.

The whole market seems unimpressed with Truss' vision. What a gamble and they usually accuse the left of reckless borrowing!

Would buy more if I could, - but maxed out. Will it go lower tomorrow?
