Yes, it appears people are glued to their TVs - which is quite something for chewing gum nonsense. It bodes very well for ITV. One expects full year results to be very; very good for a second year running. Only the vision of ITVX has put the breaks on till now, which will soon prove to be a success.

The management wishing to push the sp up is one thing. Welcoming a takeover bid seems to be wishful thinking on your part. There are many that will defend its honour as a successful British company and go all out to keep it that way.
That would be my preference too.

Advertisers move a week early this year. The message most are conveying is an ethical one with UK budgets squeezed. The BOE have indicated an expected recession that will be the longest since the 1930s. They weren’t shy in pointing the finger at the recent government non-costed mini budget either.
On the bright side ITV will, with the help of increased ads, be one of the winners, ka-ching!
