Thanks for the link, CR888. It would appear to me that the management were fighting off TB, rather than welcoming them! If their vision is to aim much higher the breakdown in talks could be a blessing in disguise.

Yes, very likely IMO.
But, it will be revisited and re-evaluated. Maybe tomorrow will be another opportunity to buy low before the weekend, and then a realisation that the TB non-offer dose not really matter all that much.

Well, I won’t be selling any of mine anytime soon.
What a market overreaction, to say the least, as if the TB offer was all that mattered. It was never, in my mind, the ‘be all and end all’. Very good results for what is after all a fledgling company. I for one sill believe in this one.
Remember at the end of a storm there's a golden sky, hold on, hold on!

Amazingly I’m still just about in profit!
So, will now go back to the original plan of playing the long game.

Obviously TB couldn’t get the bargain they hoped for.

Truss has put fossil fuel loving, deregulation-obsessed Jacob Rees Mogg in charge of both energy & climate crises. This is not good, he’s is not a serious person & this is not a serious Government. It surreal that Johnson has been proclaimed a success by the Tories - Only in a county as obsequious, class-bound and complacent as ours could a person who has done so much wanton damage be applauded. Can’t see any of this ending well.
