I will answer my own question ..no none of them is worth anywhere near that type salaries especially for a part time roles. They are members of the same little club..... drawing salaries for treading water ...Have they added any value or moved the company forward since arriving... the answer is the BIG NO... In fact i don't think any of them have where-ever they have been in the past... so why have they come here ... you only have to look into the recent history and the answer will be staring you in the face

He lies the truth about this type of AIM company. Each year there’s little of no progress the business is no near a viable route to profit or in this case even a way forward. But there’s a executive chairman, a CEO and 4 non executive board members .. the first 2 are drawing 6 figure salaries for what really are part time roles. Not sure how one can justify two doing what is primarily the same job and then awarding themselves bonuses too. One has to ask is this value for money.

I think the positive to take from this is that the test is holding up to approval scrutiny by whoever looks at it , with great results the FDA will come soon surely. Covid is not going away. That leaves Mr Budd to prove he's not a one trick pony (development) and come out with his partners BC and sell large volumes of the tests globally. After all his background is sales and marketing FFS and whats the point in development a gold standard test if can't be sold.

There has been many false dawns and as you say Whizzer many many missed deadlines. To appoint TG is suffering from a bit a credibility crisis in term of moving the project forward. Whilst the PR and government noise is welcome, none of it mean jack without funding. Investors have been burnt a few times with rights issues and the likes in the past so are probably holding back until funding is confirmed along with the terms ... Its really time to get things moving>>>

Whizzer.......... there is an element of truth in what you are saying. As i have said in the past this is a new industry in Southern Africa with many many hurdles to over come . The progress has been slow and i'd like to think thats due to miss reading of what required and how slow the wheels of government move. Rather than malice on behalf of the director, the truth will soon be out. So fingers crossed.

My gut thinks that TG thinks the funding is in the bag, hence the noise on the other opportunities solar, hydro and the gas supply. You have to be pretty confident that You can supply the required volumes of gas to even consider and then put in a tender. For me it is a clear signal that TG thinks everything is coming together . If he didn’t there would be radio silence like the last few years. Well that’s my take on what happening currently

Think it’s more just a general we are here, this is what we’re up to and this is why! type PR rather than targeted at anyone segment. Nothing wrong with being proactive or shouting about your business offering. Much better to be out there then doing everything by stealth. They have been quite for far to long..

Personally I don’t think TG is the story telling type, delays are apparent on this project. But more to do with Botswana government than anything else. TG has put his money where his mouth is (shares owned) and also taken pay cuts when required which is also a big plus for me and shows he not just here to take a salary (life style CEO) Let’s hope things gather speed now an once Covid or finance allows .....it’s full steam a head! “Let’s go”

I must admit whizzer. It does seem a bit on a scatter gun approach. Whilst all could and will be important in the future success of the company. TG really needs to tie up funding and push on the the first phase and then some ..

For what it’s worth I’m not on here to stir up negativity or call out people it’s just my view of where we are, where we won’t to be and how we can get there. I think most whom bother to post on here want the company to succeed. But some see things in different ways .... that’s what debate is nothing more nothing less ..PERIOD !!

@sally26 you have made another assumption ie that I am a get rich quick character... where as I have been in GDR for some 14 months with a view to being in for at least another 6-12 months . Hardly get rich quick .. but I can see where the company lacks solid footing to push forward. GDR has yet to exploit its obvious potential and has been primarily a research and development company until now. it next stage is to exploit the pipe line to excellent products it has . But that needs a whole lot of new skills to achieve and only time will tell whether Mr Budd has those and for the moment the jury is out.

Sally 26 ... and who are you to say who or what people’s motivations are .. you sound so pathetic... view are views end of even if they don’t follow yours . But that’s up to you ....tunnel vision is a flaw rather than a skill

Doozy .. I am all for rewarding success .. But Mr Budds bonus was for reducing the companies debt on the back of potential sales in the covid play. One which he achieve but the other well that’s another story. He may have used his influence with BC to cross sell this product .. but in all other sales avenues he has come up very short.. to me it is very short sighted to focus on one market which you have not been able to sell meaningful volumes due to delays in approvals. There is a whole world out there that need tests.. even if they had to reduce the gross margin to get sales. 100% of 0 is 0 where as 75% of 12.50 is 9.40 and a decent profit can be extracted from that. Especially if the volumes where exponodential and therefore so would profits. I guess all will become clear over the next 3-6 months and he will either end up a hero or a zero.. But I know where he sits at the moment ??

There’s a lot of talk on this board about GDR being under valued. I guess in terms of pipe line potential this could be true. But in terms of real sales then I don’t see that .. to date they have to my knowledge only sold $400k to BC for roll out purposes. But as yet nothing else substantial....this leads me to believe that on the RD side of the business they are fantastic... but in Mr Budds area commercialising these products is where they fall down . Yes this may change going forward but one must ask why has it taken so long to commercialise the covid opportunity. One could say that the approvals process has taken an age, which is true. But their has been opportunities in Europe and South Africa to name but two that have not been exploited....successful businesses seize opportunities not dither and wait for them to fall into there lap as it were! Let’s hope this is the start of a substantial sales growth period for GDR and all its stakeholders!

Oldblue you really are deluded if you think. A) that what is said on this board will have any real influence on the share price b) that I am shorting this share. .. I can just see what’s staring you in the face .. but that’s fine .... no worries

History of the board of D’s is .....there any real success in the past .. if the answer is no .. then ...?

Not sure AST really has way forward .. no income to talk of , relative large board of directors all needing to paid. No true or obvious path to revenues in the near to mid term. The only avenue open is dilution.. but to what end!..... And of course the compensation but that’s years off if ever in truth!
