Bought another £5k at 252.3p. Got inpatient with my automatic buy set at 245p haha.

Got half my portfolio in BP now. Happy to have sliced profits at 290/310p. Hoping to do it again and ride the rest of em to 350p. Freeeeeedom.

So you think this is a dead duck - but are sitting around waiting for it to go up another 25% hahaha. Wow. Couldn’t make this up. And you’re up 2 million you say?! ...is that rupees?

If it makes you feel any better mate - I sold out at 264.8p - expecting a drop to 240’s again! Alas. Live & learn! Been a great share & ive used it to boost my portfolio by buying and selling from 119p! (If only I had held all the way up!) haha.

Don’t think it’ll be back in the 240’s again. But even 250p I’ll jump in again. If not, good luck! Been a very civil & friendly board :)

Funny drop.

The 20% sell in Oman was seen as a positive by many this morning. Read an article which stated “today should be a good day for BP SP” ha-ha. It is earnings season so who know!

35% of my portfolio has been put into BP 200p-270p (sold some at 290/308. Rebought 275). And will buy more if it drops below 250p!

Nex held up great. FTSE dropped to 6400 support - I hope it stays above that level, next support seems to be 6200

Just topped up another £5k at 272.6p.

I realise it could drop further with earnings season upon us - but at the same time I sniff good covid related news. We are going into Feb and talks about lifting lockdowns etc / vaccine affects coming out in a week or so - it could kick off a bull run.

Who knows. That’s my opinion - I obviously have kept some in my back pocket if we have a mini crash ahead of earnings for another top up at 260p.

The fact that we’re not spiralling into the 250’s despite some weird stuff going on, and the FTSE having a terrible 48 hours - is a positive imo. And I reckon 275p - 315p seems to be where we’ll be for now!

I know some are more optimistic - but I can’t see 400p by April as some have said. I honestly don’t see it happening, but if it does, great news. I just think with lockdowns, uncertainty, BP re-juggling renewables etc - it’ll taken a bit longer

Not-so-happy FTSE tonight, down -100 points on futures. Surely people knew lockdown was going to be extended?! *facepalm*

FTSE obviously happy - futures up +36.5 points. Let’s hope it holds :).

Altube - I wish I could hold and wait (first bought 119p - sold 160p, re enter 220p)

And although, this market is great for trading - holding with solid stocks is a great strategy.

Unfortunately, it’s been 2 months of unemployment for me now (ex - pointy end of a plane) - and so I need my cash as “safe” as possible.

Mentioned in a previous post I had sold most my holdings (last sell was ~273p) with intention to re enter below 250p. As I obviously think this is a great share .

Just bought 10% at 246.5p. (Still had 1/3 in from previous holding)

Reason I sold out above 270p was simply because I thought the FTSE had a good run (I also sold 2/3 at BP at the same time) - a lot of NEX 12 month targets were 270-300p - and with covid still rampant and our gov hell bent on destroying our economy through draconian lockdowns, I thought a pull back was inevitable. (No technical analysis, just thinking out loud!).

Insane to think this was 24 months ago!

Started in 2017 - I can’t see any *major* development that has occurred, I mean, surely, people expected a court date for the accused once investigation was under way!

Loaded up a slightly bigger position today at 111.1p... either I’m daft as Boris and missing something blindingly obvious - or this is hugely undervalued.

Ready for a third load up if it drops again tomorrow - but think that will be my final one. Don’t understand how people can offload so many shares of a company when nothing fundamental has changed. Unless it’s going under & im just too stupid to see it!

Been a great few months for NEX.
Bought at 119p and sold at 160p.

Back in at 220p and sliced at 264p & 273p this morning. Got 1/3 left - target is 300p or top up if dips below 250p.

Don’t see many risks with NEX!

I added a very small position (£2k) into petrofac at 114.5p. Looks like there is a lot more upside than downside potential - but certainly a lot riskier than BP at 200p.

Sliced BP at 289p & 310p. Have 1/3 left - target is 350p.
