Thank you for taking the time to reply Candid.
Your exit point for CEY is slightly above mine. I’ve got mental sells at 110p / 120p / 130p. I am just about in profit at the moment. Loved the divvies.
Good points re NRR. I agree. Tough spot. I did nearly pull the trigger for a 5% loss (should have now!!). Imo the sale was madness!!
Interesting Candid.
Do you have a mental sell price for CEY? If you wouldn’t mind sharing…
I also have a small holding in NRR (at 90p - so at a loss) but wondering where it’s going. A line on that would be interesting too if you have a moment :-)
~102.6p to ~96.7p - what a weird range on a weird day !
Was really hoping we’d finish the week above 100p!
Monk - that is a very good point that I hadn’t thought about
Yep. Given it until Xmas!
I heard someone say this time next year. If by Xmas this isn’t higher I would be *very, very, very* surprised!!!
Last year we saw the start of a incredible bull run from NEX (& wider markets) due to the vaccine news. This year, we seemed poised for another decent Xmas rally if things keep heading in the right direction.
There are concerns around inflation / US stock market correction etc however, if COVID is *really* a thing of the past and the next 6-8 weeks will (hopefully) show just that - then we should see the FTSE ending the year on a high! Ofcourse, anything is possible, but increased infection rates + deaths over winter could spook an already tentative market if the gov starts muttering the L word again
The sp movement is very unusual. However, I usually don’t pay much attention to daily movements - unless the FTSE is green and we are down -3%. Then I go to the garden for a quick scream haha.
I know the feeling chaps. I’m in at 240p and was watching the screen when it was at 260 thinking about slicing just a couple of days ago. I didn’t. However, I can’t help but feel this is so overdone - only down because of the travel sector - nothing personal.
I’ve got 1 top up left after I sold some PFC - and they’ll be for the ~210p region. But I really hope it doesn’t get there haha
Cheeky top up @91.1p. Avg now 98.8p - exciting times!
I don’t have quite that much (~£20k in) and I’m about 12% down (240p avg) which isn’t really a biggie if I’m honest. The next 6-12 months will be very interesting! Just here for the ride! :-)
Ohhhh. Chris, my apologies I misread that ass “taken more shares plus 1000 million in debt” ! Yes, you are quite right.
Don’t worry about the shares, that was May(?) 2020? Raised a few hundred million, good for company position.
Lead up to Xmas is a great time for NEX, restrictions are the real worry let’s hope we can avoid those. For the time being, it’s top up time for me! :-)
Can we all take a moment and laugh out loud at some of these scaremongers hahaha. He actually said they’ve taken “1000 million debt” and unfortunately, they’ll be some poor new investors who think he knows what he’s on about!
Interestingly though, NEX 12 month SP predictions have risen from 270p (when I first bought) - go over 300p on avg.
If you guys feel bad, imagine how I feel - initially bought in at ~113p and ended up selling it all on the way up…now in with £12k @270p lol - will double down around 200p me thinks.
Yes, September is historically the *worst* month for SP action.
Think we could get a great Xmas rally going if no signs of lockdown!
Cheeky top up at 95.52p
I’m in with quite a chunk at 100p. Can’t help but think there is real value here. Looking for a top up point if dip continues - very surprising to see it lingering below £1 thought ex divvy wouldve shot it up. Needless to say, not in any hurry to sell, just excited to see the value….some day ;)
Haha Monk good one!
Falk expected better from you to be honest. If you guess every single price range, at some point you’ll be right I guess. Even a broken clock…..
Jtan the fact NEX is not sitting between 320p-350p is absolutely puzzling. The FTSE is still undervalued according to many, but within the FTSE, nex is surely very undervalued compared to where some of the airlines sit - which is nearly pre covid or at pre covid levels! Insane.
FTSE up +49 points in futures… very interesting indeed
