I agree with ITVX. It came too late after the Dame clung on to world domination through Britbox. It also came with a terrible launch and unrealistic projections which the city analysts saw through immediately and jumped ship rather than follow a fool.

ITV needs to make strategic deals with Netflix and all the big operators. Use the studios to make UK based drama and reality tv and offer it to Netflix and others in return for getting their shows to add to ITVX. McCall has not invited cross collaboration at a time when the streamers are feeling the pressure and need to reduce costs.

The sale of the studios is not something I advocated. I applauded the offer to sell 10% abd get a true valuation of ITV which is double today's share price.

The Dame should be sacked for lying to Parliament. She knew about Schofield. Everyone at ITV did. It was not just the one child actor he picked up at that theatre group. He also befriended the guy who set the theatre group up when he was a child actor. The whole theatre group was shut down the moment the Sun newspaper started investigating what Phillip and his best mate Simon had been up to. This is why Schofield will never return to the public eye. For now he has got off lightly.

This share was over £2 when Crozier resigned. Now at 60p. Show me any other FTSE 100 company that has done that and kept its CEO on.

ITV are the subject of jokes across the media industry. £1.5million for Farage stinks of desperation. Even Kate Middleton or Britney Spears could not generate advertising revenue to justify that fee.

Most of us here are chancers and gamblers looking to get ahead. Pogo plays it safe. I am advocating hold for now with the chance of selling everything at £1 if Canterbury university's finest alumni (not much competition) gets the boot.

Absolute nonsense. The answer is not just to throw more money into production. 100 million + spent on ITVX but the Dame failed to outline a convincing strategy at launch so investors dumped ITV shares.

ITV need to drive up market share and viewers. Better content at lower cost. Bring in other broadcasters to share content on ITVX at miminal cost and provide their platforms with ITV content.

Put pressure on UK government to wind up Channel 4. It is no longer the 80s and viewing figures do not merit that government subsidised channel that competes with ITV to bid for shows and thus forces prices up. Gogglebox on ITV1 on a Friday night would generate massive income. Even Bake off and other formats going out to audiences of 10 million on peak time ITV.

Pre Covid the Share Price was 150. 3.5 years on and we are still at Covid lows.

Not good enough. We can all go on about how she needs to improve ITVX, more content, more strategic thinking, more agile but none of that matters if the Share Price is not keeping track with other UK listed companies.

She has failed. Not just a momentary lapse. She has properly crashed the car. No more 4th, 5h, 6th chances. She needs to go. She is a proven liar and ballshift merchant and her KC inquiry is an utter insult to shareholders, staff and to Parliament.

2018 to 2022, she could have seen that streaming was the future and launched ITVX. She collected over 10 million and left Britbox and the ITV hub as the main digital platforms for ITV. All that time Solley and his mate Nigeco told us that Britbox would be world beating and to have faith in the Dame whilst the share price languished.

She missed a great opportunity to be established before Disney, Paramount and all others. ITV could have had the biggest share of streaming and then asked the late comers if they wanted to host content from ITVX. Wasted opportunity. Netflix Disney and all carved up the UK streaming audiences between them and the Dame stayed frozen in the starting blocks.

Face it she is an utter failure. Dopier than Boris Johnson. More incompetent than Boris. She is not quite Liz Truss level yet but that is why we need her out before she completely crashes City of London confidence in ITV.

Michael Grade stepped down after 2 years as CEO after realising he was not up to the job. New Year. New leadership. No more time for the Dame. She has had 6 years of underachieving. Time she went off to assist with running her families cricket enterprise. She is just not up to the task.

It is not hatred to call out bad performance from a 3.5million CEO. They have put themselves up there on a platform and told us that they merit a renumeration package which is 80x what the Prime Minister of the UK gets.

Her judgement is flawed. She makes terrible mistakes. She ignores a toxic working culture. It is right to call her to account and it is cowardice to stay silent. I said back in June that the inquiry was to buy her time. In September we expected it to be published only they held it back. If there was nothing to report it should have been easy. The two main witmesses failed to give evidence. My best guess is they held the report back as legal counsel advised that certain revelations needed to be held back and redactions needed to be made.

The sheer number of people who want to silence me here speaks volumes. Desperate to cover up for an institution that allowed somebody complicit in covering for a child abuser to go back on air.

Jed we do not all know that I was sacked. I was freelance. Contractor. I left to take another project paying considerably more money in the City of London. I loved every moment of working at ITV with ITV employees but I was never on the payroll.

Nothing merited investigation and yet Schofield was kept on air after he admitted to covering up child abuse and another producer was sacked after it was found he had slept with a contestant. A QC/KC also found Savile to be in the clear after he raped a teenage girl he had picked up on Top of the Pops. Utter white wash.

The ITV management have played you for a fool Jed. I refuse to remain silent. I have never taken the cowards way out.

McCall, Lygo and the BoD are a national disgrace. The butt of all jokes. Unfit and not proper to run one of the great UK cultural institutions.

Bring them back to Parliament and threaten to revoke the license to broadcast.

Sorry that should be Public Service Broadcaster. The Board of Directors, the CEO and especially Kevin Lygo are not fit and proper persons who are capable of running an institution such as ITV. In many ways with the BBC now buying more and more shows from ITV studios this is a public sector entity.

Standards have fallen. Employees are scared to speak out on the record. Sham inquiry. This needs Parliamentary intervention to stop the rot that has gone on for too long now. People need to speak up. Be vocal. No room for cowardice. McCall and Lygo out.

Dear Select Committee, OFCOM, Department of Culture Media and Sport. If you read this forum which does have high public visibility, I implore you to return to the issue of ITV and the conduct of its senior managers again.

The inquiry or report is now out. Previously the ITV Board looked to buy time by ordering the inqiry before they were summoned to Parliament. Now would be a great time to return to this issue now that the cover up and white wash of a report is in the public domain.

Nowhere have the ITV Board and CEO accepted blame or failure for Schofield. They denied a toxic culture at ITV and repeated this to Parliament. The information that has since come to light after that last select committee hearing now makes it abundantly clear that abuses of power have been common place at ITV. Senior management have largely ignored those abuses and with Schofield they put him back on air before his coworkers refused to work with him. Schofield has not under current laws done anything illegal but if he was in the teaching profession or police he would have been fired and prosecition brought for failing to report child abuse.

These oversights that have come to light in the last 8 months have made it clear that Dame McCall, Kevin Lygo and other members of the Board are not fit and proper to be managing a Public Sector Broadcaster with all the responsibility that entails. They have been arrogant. They have lied. They have refused to admit mistakes were made. They have attempted to mislead Parliament, shareholders and the public.

Please summon them back before Parliament. Demand action. Demand change at senior level. Use your powers to threaten to revoke their license. I beseech you as someone who worked at ITV and greatly values its contribution to British culture and society to right these wrongs before ITV sinks any lower.

This should be a top tier company that will provide employment in the creative industries for decades to come. Under the current management it is failing at all levels.

Please bring them back before a Select Committee and demand real answers and an admission of failure from them.

ITV staff will not report up to senior managment but they have no issue talking to the SUN.

Off the record, everybody knew that everyone in positions of power at ITV were getting their end away........ So glad I never attended that Michael Barrymore end of series party back in 1996 in LWT tower. Who knows where I might have ended up.

Victim X was of course not the first child that Schofield had befriended in the theatre. His "close family friend" Simon he had met when Simon was a child appearing in Joseph with him. Simon when on to setup a theatre group (also scouts for talent for Simon Cowell). It was at that theatre group that Phillip met Victim X when he was 13. The same theatre group was wound up when the SUN newspaper started digging in 2019.

All coincidence and of course the ITV BoD have heard nothing.

Sept 2021: Tim Schofield admits to brother Phillip Schofield that he has committed child sex acts that will later see him sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Dec 2021: Complaints made to police by victims. Nothing said by Phillip Schofield in the 3 months.

April 2023: Trial of Schofields brother where Phillip admits on oath that he knew of child sex acts in September 2021 but did nothing until the police later arrested his brother.

May 20th 2023: Phillip Schofield back on air despite admitting in court that he said nothing about child sex acts

May 27th 2023: Phillip Schofield resigns

So who at the top of ITV having seen Phillip's statement that he failed to report child sex acts gave him the green light to go back on air on daytime tv? It was only his co presenter and other staff refusing to work with the guy who stayed silent over child sex acts that brought him down.

ITV management did not have an issue with non reporting of child sex acts that brought a 12 year sentence to the perpetrator.

Nothing learnt from Savile.

Schofield cover up speaks of larger failings in the culture at ITV. Staff too scared to speak up and management unaware of abuses going on in their workplace.

According to the report only one member of staff knew about Schofield before 2023. Yet there were bloggers, tweets and stories in the Sun from multiple sources. The whole queuegate looked to have been people angry at Schofield using the Queen lying in state as an excuse to go after the guy. Yet ITV want us to believe that nobody knew.

This is life imitating art. In the Savile drama with Steve Coogan, the BBC summoned Savile infront of a QC after a teenage girl he raped committed suicide. The QC cleared Savile despite photographs of Savile with the victim. There were pictures of Schofield with the runner as a teenage boy. Videos of the two of them together. Everyone knew but this KC and ITV Bod want us to believe that nobody knew anything and that they do not cover up after powerful presenters and producers.

It stinks as bad as Savile did. Everyone at the top pretending they know nothing

Nothing obsessive about my posting . Same thing happens with football teams where underperforming players or managers get negative comments from fans and pundits week in, week out. It is normal behaviour if you are emotionally invested in a team. The only difference is that failure is not accepted in the world of football. Players and managers last 2-3 seasons at the most (Martial is the exception).

So the Dame is the business equivalent of Anthony Martial. Six years of terrible performance. Not just in one area. The SP is bad but she points to the positive culture she has created..... Only Parliament summon her and then the independent inquiry digs up toxic behaviour everywhere.

ITV are a joke. Mentioned across comedy shows on radio, tv and internet. Stop making excuses for the person at the top who is the person who should have intervened earlier. She cannot stop the share price slide. She lied to Parliament. She has left toxic producers and presenters to sexually exploit co workers and contestants.

Misogyny again. It is as if we must never criticise a female. Well guess what? Equality means women CEOs must be held accountable and expected to reach the same standards as their male counterparts. Anyone who refuses to hold women up to the same standards is a male chauvinist and dinosaur.

The UK's n0.1 business woman and one of the highest paid females in the country is distinctly sub par. The extra 750 million in additional revenue that was promised as part of her biggest initiative since taking over the reins of ITV has failed to materialise. She has only achieved half of what she promised. She would say give her until 2026, but I think most financial analysts could see in 2022 that she was never going to deliver.

She has failed to create a harmonious and productive working culture. She was summoned to Parliament and fed MPs a pack of lies. The inquiry has been buried but already Production staff are being fired after serious wrongdoings have been uncovered under the Dame's leadership. ITV are being laughed at and mocked by comedians. The company is a joke and the inquiry is not even published.

Pain in the Janus and Winnie can post endlessly asking for positive vibes and good thoughts only but I would rather call out the bad performance here in a public forum in the hope that it can affect some change.

Another piece of lazy journalism which fails to mention that ITVX is only reaching half the streaming hours predicted and half the revenue predicted.

Can we get back to serious analysis here and not just media spin where they talk up their own lacklustre performance?
