Anyway 5 weeks and 2 days and we are at Full Year Results. The highlight of the ITV Financial calendar. The bad news is all priced in. What surprises will the Do Nothing Dame and her EZJ hangers on have for us this year? Hopefully the dividend remains otherwise there is no reason to invest here.

Carolyn and the Board did nothing for 4 years!!!!! Kept Britbox and the Hub going even though it was obvious that they were not good enough. 20 years after BBC iPlayer was launched they finally got around to creating a platform that could match the BBC only it still gets nothing like the viewers that iPlayer does.

They failed to modernise fast enough. They left toxic producers and stars to bed contestants and junior staff and when caught out they just pretended they knew nothing rather than own the issue.

She lied to Parliament. She is weak. She hired Easyjet cronies who arrived with mistresses. She did barely anything for the first 4 years of her tenure. Then way too late she moved to ITVX and completely threw the city into a downward spiral by announcing an extra 160 million in gifts to mates without showing proof that it would result in greater viewers and revenues (it has failed as we are in an advertising downturn).

She is not the Veuve cliquot business woman of the year anymore. We are paying £3.5 million for the Christian Benteke of the business world.

Nobody wants to buy ITV out. Nobody wants to buy its shares. That is proof enough that it is badly managed. During Croziers tenure there was real talk of people wanting the business.

Really. I think ITV highlighted the issue in November. Said they can offset those losses with studio income. Channel 4 have come with same performance today and said they need to axe huge areas of the business as they do not have studio income.

The morning sell off was panic selling by people who do not understand that this level of performance is already factored in to ITV share price. Back over 60p and hopefully climbing for the rest of the week.....

Channel 4 also selling its London offices. So no more hiring for office based jobs in London.

In some ways it helps ITV if the competition for staff and talent lessens. ITV could take on 100x creative staff from C4 if they just axed the Dame and her 3.5 million a year.

Pogo has spoken. Stop talking Channel 4! It is not like there are companies that are more relevant to ITV in terms of results but lets all pretend it is not doom and gloom in the advertising market. Focus on the Dame again.

No way of getting her out it seems. Even wiping billions off the share price does not get the message through her thick skull.

50p is a real gamble. Anything could change here at any moment. The CEO and her team are walking on very thin ice. New leadership and new positive perception of ITV by City could drive this back up to £1.

I still live in hope that Carolyn does the right thing and retires from all Business roles.

The reputational damage done to ITV is something that the Dame needs to own. She should have taken Schofield off air or at least admitted having made mistakes. If Schofield had been a teacher or social worker he would be facing criminal charges. He failed to report his brothers child sex acts. Only he knows why he chose to remain silent but it does not look good that a child sex offender confides in him and he too had a history of grooming multiple young boys.

A better leader would have taken control of this situation. Would have seen through the Schofield lies and spoken to Willoughby and others in close proximity and pulled him off air. There are pictures of 8 people on stage at the National Television awards with Schofield. One is the runner, one is Willoughby and two are senior producers of this morning. The victim was front and centre. Could not be ignored and yet the Dame rather than acknowledge she knew has produced a pack of lies which she has fed to Parliament and the enquiry.

She is dishonest. She cannot see her limitations and failures. Good leaders know when to resign and go out with a good reputation. McCall is loathed across the city and is seen as a liability to ITV across the rest of media and the press.

How much longer must we endure this sub standard but overpaid CEO? Kemi Badenoch your intervention is badly needed here. Dame McCall is not a fit and proper person to be running the UK's biggest media outlet.

Pogo is good for entertainment. Alas I am not Russian, or a troll or a shorter.

Yet with Easyjet the Dame would allow Bloomberg journalists to hold her to account for the share price falls? Why not the same open culture at ITV? Why was the culture so different at Easyjet where the share price mattered and investors mattered but at ITV they can be arrogant and just dismiss shareholder concerns? El Presidente for life?

Jed you are rapidly becoming an apologist for a liar and a corrupt CEO. Nobody should be defending this CEO whopaid for a whitewash on Schofield and had the two main witnesses refuse to give testimony in order to save her position. A CEO who has wrecked the share price and refuses to apologise or even take a reduced renumeration package whilst the price is low.

Back in the Easyjet days Carolyn would do hard questions and answers with Bloomberg analyts who were critical of EZJ performance.

Why does she not do that today? I would love to see forensic analysis of ITV share price and questions put to her as to why it has gone from £2 to 60p under her watch.

There are far better dividend shares out there with much less risk. ITV is a gamblers share. It could climb to £1. It could fall to 40p. Spin the wheel and just pray that the Dame does not trash the SP further than she already has.

If Carolyn resigned today. I believe the share price would bounce up to 70p after the announcement. 80p by the end of the week. 120 by FYR in March with the right replacement (no more political appointments and their cronies).

No foreign buyout. Nobody with political connections is going to get an ITV buyout over the line. ITV has become the stuidos for too much BBC content. It is in effect the privatised section of the BBC. On top of that you have ITN news which makes both the channels news and C4 news.

ITV is now quasi public sector. Too much political influence. You could not let it go to a pro Conservative or pro labour owner.

Where else does the CEO of a limited company get summoned by Parliament for an internal affair?

Any buyout has to get past Ofcom, department media and sport, Competitions and markets authority.. Even then individual MPS will probably kick up a stink. Microsoft buyout of Activision has set an example of what to expect.
