I ran through his posts before for the last 18 months and his average was closer to 74p. He leaves a massive audit trail. Every time he buys he posts on here. Of course the buys at 83p never really happened......

It is all very peculiar. Winnie, Solley and Pongo only post the news. Never the bad. Deutsche bank rating will be ignored and some trivial nonsense will be posted about ITV commissioning some UK centric drama that Winnie will claim is world beating.

Maybe we need separate rooms on this forum. A private room where W@nkstanley, Solley and Pongo can go and have their circle jerk uninterrupted. Maybe they could be permitted to post deep fake images of Carolyn in lingerie

Pogo that upside was already banked. The share price went from 55p to 70p when the buybacks were implemented last year. There is no double boost to the share price. Without further good news it may be hard to keep the 70p. Maybe with the 300 million shares bought it means the price will never go to the 50s again but we did see 61 or 62 back in the autumn so we know those lows are possible.

Synic I think Pongo posted it was 17 million left on Friday. Only 1.4 million bought today so this could stretch out to Valentines day. The volume of buybacks can double if the SP dips below 70p but so far it looks like calm seas.

Good to get another opinion on the end of buybacks. I would love the Dame to do something or announce an innitiative that the markets like that propel the SP upwards but we have all been waiting for that since 2018.

69.90 was my prediction last week. The buybacks are keeping ITV AT 70P despite all the downward pressure. Would love to know what the BOD are making of this and whether they will sell more of the conpany to keep the SP articially high.

Unlike at Easyjet her additional bonuses are not so much linked to share price. At Easyjet she worked her A off to make additional millions every year. At ITV her bonus is linked more to overall group revenue and profit and has stayed relatively static apart from Covid and then in this last year she took a pay cut.

Carolyn is somewhere close to 20 million now for putting her feet up and avoiding giving any interviews to the financial media to explain the dire state of the share price.

As Solley states "nothing to be worried about". There are worse managers in the NHS who call in sick and never do anything.
