Dear oh dear oh dear. I come back from my action filled holiday to Cape Verde and see all the silly nonsense has returned. Incidentally I ran into Joe Biden yesterday as he was waiting to board Air Force One and we talked Russia and Israel and how to bring about global stability.

Look the Studio sell is a re-hash of two years ago. Same story was floated then only it was directly attributable to Dimwit McCall. She issued a statement saying she would welcome interest in part or whole purcahse of the studios and breaking the business up. Similar time of year. 6 months later she then said the Studios are not for sale........

So it has become a clear mechanism by which she reinjects value into ITV when it the share price collapses but I question whether ITV staff and top management really want to let go of the studios and face external investors cutting jobs and giving some of their friends the boot.

Only time will tell us whether this is just more hot air from the overpaid Panto Dame.

As for Nigecompoop posting here again. Please remember he bought ITV at over £2 to then sell 2 years ago at 70p. He told everyone to hold and was still urging people to buy at 130 as ITVX launch crashed the price. He then secretly sold and told nobody that he had done. He snuck out and did the walk of shame after telling all other holders not to sell. Dishonest and utterly hopeless investor.

Monday's share price will be a good indication as to how much truth there is behind the current rumour. The 5% rise was possibly a mix of the story and just the general upwards movement in the FTSE on Friday.

Please can Pogo and Solley take note of Jed's post. You are meant to go on holiday and relax. Not post on this forum and certainly not enter into insults all day with posters you fail to agree with.

I put out a story about Lonely Planet more than a decade ago on a forum. It got picked up and quoted by lazy journalists in the Australian media. UK press then ran with the story listing the Australian articles as source. What started as a small piece of mischief on my part became rumour across British papers Sunday travel sections.

Mark Kleinman is SKY news city editor and the Sky biog claims he has broken other takeover stories. Still the article stresses no sufficient progress made with the bid as yet and "un named sources".

The posters who like to believe hysteria will obviosuly pile in on me but history shows I am right. We had the part sell off of the studios rumour two years ago. We had the French buyer also listed in a number of papers. We have had endless Goldfinger and Liberty bids in the pipeline.

I would urge caution. With buybacks ending this could easily retreat back to 55p and the shorters will love the fact that they can plant stories and have small investors put their life savings into ITV before wiping that money off the ITV valuation.

6 million shares bought today in the buybacks and still the price falls. McCall is running out of time and options to save her job and one of the biggest remuneration packages in the UK. Probably too late to save ITV now. Studio revenues are falling and free to air is dying a slow death.

Poor old Pogo and Solley cannot even enjoy their holidays. Solley on his Baltic cruise spent more time reading these forums desperate for affirmation from his fellow rampers. Pogo is heavily underwater in debt and drowning. His holiday must be an attempt to avoid the loan sharks and lenders that he borrowed from to finance the 150k additional shares he bought since April.

Pogo raises a very good point. In the summer I predicted August 2025 for the buybacks to end. In recent months ITV have had to ramp up the buybacks as the share price collapses. £3MILLION a day now and as Pogo states maybe only 80 million of that left to play with. So January/February we face the prospect of no further buybacks everyday. That artifical stimulus added 15p to the Share Price when announced early this year.

The Dame has splashed out 235 million to protect her own job and those of her EZJ cronies. Then just before FYR 2025 we are looking at potentially 5p-15p drop in the share price. Shorters are going to love ITV without the millions being spent each day and it will become the shorters favourite again.

Pogo is right to raise buybacks. The end will be a real kick in the teeth for long term holders. Pogo was also right when before moving over to ITV he mocked the long term holders of Cineworld who thought they would get their money back (alas they lost everything). He cannot see that the same situation is playing out here with ever diminishing revenues and management who cannot react.

The next few months will see the results of the Dame's six years in charge. ITV will either rise from the ashes or will disappear forever. Risky gamble but that is what the likes of Pogo live for.

That is if he even owns anything close to the 400,000 that he claims. For a farm labourer that seems a tall story.

I always look to the date that Crozier announced he was leaving. The share price was over £2.

Then if you were to remove the buybacks, todays share price would be closer to 50p.

No excuses for that kind of performance.

I would urge investors here to ignore the positive spin put on these results by McCall and the sad individuals who buy into the idea of holding ITV shares long term.

The advertising revenue was always going to be bad. I predicted the markets would not see last years Rugby World Cup comparison and would sell the shares. Studios is a shock. Nothing that bad in years.

These are the worst results delivered in years. Expect a massive drop today followed by shorters moving this down now until the end of the year.

Pogo is set to lose over 100k in this share since the high of 85p only a few weeks ago.

Look at the Share Price. Ignore the liars who promise a recovery to £1

End of 2025, so add to that the end of buybacks. I reckon Pogo could be looking at a 2.5 year investment that averages over 70p at purchase that is worth under 60p by end of 2025.

May 2023 he told us all £1.50 by end of 2025 at the latest. That deadline is looming closer every day and we still have the high taxation budget and results on Nov 7th
