Congrsatulations strike. Congratulations to the Board who also got out at 79-80. Kelly Williams sold close to 1 million shares at 79p and is a good 40-50k better. ITV Financial Advisor looks to know their job and maximised the Board's earnings on free shares.

Sadly we have 1-2 good advisors on this board (Contrarian spings to mind) but the cohort of idiots always try to drown out anyone who mentions sell. So sadly yet again all the "holders" here are left looking stupid once again. Next week will see another 3p wiped from the SP. You can bet the Gulf state investors (imaginary or not) are now doing the sums and realising that a merger or bid makes no sense with falling revenues across studios globally with the new tariffs coming into place.

Most of the Directors seem to be selling. One is selling close to 1 million shares at 79p. It can only be tax and not because they know about any merger talks.

That 230 million from the Britbox sale will cover the cost of Carolyn and her cronies free share options from 2018-2028. Money that should have been reinvested back into studios or special dividends to everyone has gone on paying for 3rd and 4th homes for the super rich at the top of the ITV tree.

IMO , ITV would probably have stayed above 120, even 150 if it was not for the Panto Dame's ITVX launch failure and her covering up of child sex abuse scandals. Nobody other than the senile old codgers in nursing homes think she is up to the job.

Yes Jed you and Kevin Lygo. I mean he put Savile back on air along with Barrymore to drum up ratings for celebrity big brother on C4 almost 20 years ago. He must have known the stories about Savile and he knew Barrymore had been taken off air by ITV.......

Lygo still collects millions despite having handed large payments to Savile for his BB appearance when he probably knew the industry rumours surrounding the UK's most high profile sex offender.

ITV needs a clearout of its aged and corrupt leadership who still cover up for offenders who operate in plain sight in their midst.

Caroyn McCall went to Canterbury University. That tells you that she was very average to poor academically. Not the brightest of people.

She wiped £5 billion from the value of ITV.

She lied to Parliament and the regulators and damaged the reputation and brand of ITV.

She covered up for child grooming and put someone back on air who had not reported child sex abuse.

She continues to claim 4 million a year despite wiping out the savings and pension funds of ITV retirees.

She has no shame and Solley who needs his children to intervene in his finance, hero worships her. Next week Solley will try to excuse the Third Reich by saying they were operating in difficult times with hostile neighbours.

Recain I just gave you the 3 factors that will push this back to 60s. Failure of merger talks, Buybacks exhausted and ex divi date and the 6 months of inactivity through until interim results.

Add to that the global tariffs and potential slow down of economies and ITV could be posting lower revenues, lower profits and a bleaker outlook in October. 55p is very much possible. More so than £1.

50p was 2022 and 2023. The share price dropped to 55p.

2024 I was predicting 60p and it went as low as 62p.

I also told everyone to sell at 120 and was laughed at. A few weeks later it was 70p and below.

I think with buybacks close to exhausted, with an announcement of no deal on studio merger and after ex divi date comes we could see quite a fall on this SP again. 65p and below. Post AGM nothing much happens with ITV through to interim results. The BoD all seem to go quiet over the summer. Lygo goes to Edinburgh media festival and provides a few soundbites. Iterim results usually highlight that revenues are down in some areas. By November the share price will be hovering around 60s unless there is a merger or McCall and her money grabbing cronies shuffle off.

And the loyal holders here trust this BoD which has too many members for a mid size ftse250 company. Too many pigs with snouts in the trough. You trust them to do the right thing by ITV but they are allegedly in negotiation to merge ITV studios with a rich Gulf State owned media company.

If the Arab investors offered them 20million each in free shares in the new merged entity in return for selling UK investors out on the cheap you can be sure they would all decline. ITV BoD have shown great sympathy will the loyal investors here. It breaks their hearts that they crashed the share price from £2 to 50p whilst barely reducing their rewards.

That is obscene amounts of money being gifted to the board.. I notice they have to hold those shares for 3 years and 5 years. That explains why Mullins was offloading her shares from 3 years ago to her spouse last week.

Anywhere there is the real purpose of buybacks folks. The sale of Britbox was necessary to finance the free shares to the CEO and her many EZJ cronies.At a time of declining revenues it made no sense to sell Britbox and not reinvest the money but the dishonest board chose to put the money towards their free share options rather than to secure future revenue.

ITV BoD and their many mistresses and family members all getting shares gifted to them stink to high heaven.

Maybe the penny has finally dropped with the "Real holders". Silence.

The ITV management and cronies are playing you for fools. Smae old studios is up for sale message only in March April when they fail to get an offer at a valuation that makes no sense to any buyer the Dame will go back to saying "Studios are not for sale". So those people in the know are ramping the share price only to ditch them once they reach a high. Not content with 6 figure salaries and millions in share bonuses the Directors are also playing speculators with ITV shares and cashing in to the tune of millions whilst small guys like Pogo believe the spin they pump out via dubious news sources.

McCall and her cronies are crooks. Pure and simple.

Does anyone remember Anglia TV 1994? The Directors including Mary Archer received a bid to buyout Anglia TV. They had all agreed that they and their spouses were not to buy shares during that period but a certain Peer of the realm on the day after the Board were made aware of the bid was buying shares despite his wife being a Director.

Sometimes greed overtakes common sense and duty and people who are at the heart of bid negotiations seek financial gain via their spouses.

Mullins could be looking to spread the capital gains tax from any large gains she makes from a potential bid for the studios or as Contrarian has now shown, she has a history of selling ITV when they reach the top of their range.

Us people on the outside cannot hope to know what advantage she hopes to gain from gifting the shares un til an announcement is made.

March 2023 and Dame McCall is on record as saying "The studios are not for sale". Are we on for another repeat of that? She had dangled a 10% share in the studio to investors only to then retract that offer and say they were not for sale.

Maybe Mullins spouse will hold on to the shares. None of us can know.

Again what do you imagine that Kyla Mullin's "partner" is doing with the 550,000 shares that she gifted to them for free? We will never know as Kyla being a legal professional has removed the audit trail by gifting her shares.

Corruption at the highest levels in ITV. The cronies will sell all you "real ITV holders" out for bargain basement price and pocket big payoffs for securing the deal before they all retire. Champagne and canapes for the next 20 years on their beach front properties.

So we can take that as a yes. You are in favour of a CEO who orchestrated a whitewash and covered up acts of abuse despite knowing for 3 years in advance. She knowingly put a star back on air despite his involvement in not reporting his brothers crimes...... Steinbecking turns a blind eye to child abuse as did the CEO of ITV.

Steinbecking so you approve of the ITV cover up? The putting back on air of someone who admitted in court to cover up an act of child sexual abuse? Bringing in a QC to coverup in a similar fashion to how the BBC covered up for Savile with a QC's report that found not enough evidence of Savile's wrong doing.

The media industry and its leaders are under heavy scrutiny since Savile and Weinstein and yet the CEO of ITV was prepared to cover up and risk reputational damage. She should have gone for that. She should have resigned over the poor performance of the share.

Stop making excuses for the liar and morally bankrupt CEO who just wants to take as much ££££s as she can whilst axing jobs left right and centre. She is not fit and proper to run what was once the UK's greatest media company.
