My biggest problem with many of these boards is that they are so often critical of management mainly based on the fact that their investment (or punt) is going down in value and they would rather see it go up. After all this is why we are in here. I personally do not believe that running any successful mining operation whether in the field or in an office should attract the automatic assumption, whether implied or real, that management is being very well paid for minimum risk. From my time contracting in the oil business there was a saying you're only as good as your last job. Without doubt, especially in exploration being run off, whether through being in the wrong place at the wrong time or genuine incompetence is ever present. Ok they're are well compensated but I just wish more punters would credit where credit is due without constantly sniping at the management. It seems to be almost the normal reaction to any event on AIM these days. I agree that whilst 'self-styled' sheriffs of AIM do a service to investors some of the time the assumption is because punters are not making money it has to be because of overpaid incompetent management. Why not take a potshot at the greedy investors who do b***** all except press a few keys, make a fortune, and live the good life out of it. You should know mining of any description is high risk high returns (if you're lucky or are clairvoyant) and AIM is a casino anyway. Just don't see the justification for implying all management are making easy money out of the 'poor' investor. Its just a version of the blame game and in this case I really can't see any justification for it. As you say Kerim has made a very good living from it and as far as I am concerned he deserves every cent. That Red Rabbit is adjacent to Syria in a politically uncertain part of Europe could be construed as incompetence on the part of the investor putting their money into it. Anyway all this is just an opinion and I am sticking with this unless of course Trump starts WWIII in which case we're all in the doo and I am convinced that this time around AAU will eventually be recognised for its achievements and potential. boards, all I can think of is that everyone seems to have the Winnifrith bug of moaning and bellyaching that the shareholders have been ripped off while the management are living on the hog. Perhaps if some of the 'moaners' would forsake their comfy armcharis and see just what a 'sh***y' job it is working on a site that's very very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter doing the jobs, well paid or not, building a mining operation they might think differently. Temperatures in the summer can reach over 40degC (Kiziltepe holds the highest temperature ever recorded in Turkey if you are interested) in summer and ms 20degC in winter. Doesn't matter what such companies do the punters (who after all are looking for easy money) it wrong when the SP doesn't reflect the achievements of companies like AAU. Just be glad your not having to work out there.

Managing to get the oil AND the gold price up with his just as long as he doesn't overdo it I'm happy. With any luck oil and gold prices will have a high profile despite the oversupply threat of oil and will be the sectors to be in.

politically is a 'buffer' between Europe and the Islamic ward and Russia and no one is going to let it explode in the way of other nations so whilst there is always this instability in the background it is in no-one's interest to allow a conflagration, Trump or no Trump in this part of the world and business will continue as normai no matter what the election outcome is. Besides there are too many vested interests in this very powerful country to allow it to slide down the pan. Only my opinion but in the past Turkey has always been a key player for world stability and survived unscathed. My personal opinion of the way the country has been run is quite different and I am glad I do not live under such a repressive regime.

Whilst agreeing with much of LStubbs this is a long haul on a wing and a prayer but now there is something to show and every promise of future success what we most need is institutional investment. Maybe consolidation is the answer to attract these institutions but either way the lead time on exploration to production is very long and whilst a few energy producers manage the transition, notably VOG in my portfolio they too suffer the same lack of patieince from investors. We all want instant gains and the only way this really happens is when the media and the market get suckered into believing there really is such a thing. Which there just isn't. Its all long hard work getting minnows off the ground these days if only because the necessary investment is not available. In this case, politics and the gold price staying where it is aside, we are over the worst IMO and should see some SP gains. We just need to stay in the financial media spotlight and the short of another Lenigas(bag) to do it , it will still take some time but I for one am prepared to wait. I will not give up on them this times subject to the aforementioned gold price and politics.

The processing plant didn't appear by magic and what's the point of building it if there isn't money to be made. With the gold price riding higher again Tavsan or no Tavsan throughput can be increased by I think 30% mentioned at little extra cost. This is low cost open pit production at its best and compares very favourably with other producers. I don't believe that any backer or management wouldn't invest such substantial sums if there was significant doubt about the Red Rabbit reserves. If you invest in a 'tiddler' then the risks are automatically much higher but don't forget what's happened to Glencore and many other who were thought to be surefire money spinners. The potential to make good money is what should be driving this share and be sure that once serious production gets underway Kerim won't be sitting on his laurels or 'surveying his fields' but the investment has to be there so don't be surprised when the call comes probably soon after the serious production brings the cash in. No matter what companies on AIM say about having the cash to see them through it never ever works out that way and once the double edged sword of rising SP kicks in there will be a placing as sure as night follows day. MIning and oil are not for the faint hearted and as long as Trumpy and company keep the gold price up IMO we're backing a good one by being in here.

The very first time I bought was in early 2009 I think it was at around 4.5p been in and out of them very very many times since, made a little, lost a little probably broke even. Generally a bit of a disaster especially when taking into account the effort and stress involved over the years and could have put money in something more profitable (which I have, the classic one never to be repeated, making £22k in 48 hours on a goldie) but I am determined to stick it out this time. I am firmly convinced that once the revenue starts coming subject of course to the price of gold staying above $1000 and the company eventually being recognised for what it is, a low cost producer, the message sinks in but we really need to get out there and get serious money on board GLA

is still out in the cold as far as I am concerned, its up to the company to find agencies / brokers to promote the remarkable progress we have made and get us on the radar - I have been waiting long enough ( like 7 years plus)

There are no instant solutions in this business but IMO Ariana could do more to spread the word of the achievements and potential of the company. Great videos and interviews but are they addressing the money. I think not but as far as spreading the word it needs boots on the ground, seems to me that Kerim is doing all the legwork as well as running this outfit. Need to appoint better people to promote the company and if that means changing the broker so be it.. We have been far too long under the radar and it seems to me that more 'money men' should be running things rather than geologist. Easy for them to get bogged down with the nitty gritty which is boring to big investors. They want to see the SP go places because this is what its all about. Investment, promotion and producing the goods. Not necessarily in that order. Sad but true real investor gains are what most are after although ultimately the step by step approach is what gets there in the end but with gold rising and many potential punters out there as well as the big funds. The lure of a good return is paramount. Trumpy is doing his bit to help the switch to gold, Brexit is helpful making potential earnings look good and everything looks set to continue the rise in gold price so we need to get out there and say 'Hey look at us'. Perhaps a consolidation is due to attract the big investors. I don't know we just rely on the BOD doing the right thing and so far they really haven't put a foot wrong but driving the share price up is another matter .....

Give 'em a chance to get going. If there are no hiccups in production irrespective of what the ***k the dore bar value is just be grateful for small mercies. Absolute rubbish being written on this BB these days, get a life. At $600 production costs surely building a ruddy great production plant would have taken these things into consideration. Give the management some credit please.

Thanks that makes it more credible ! Still won't bother because nothing anyone especially 'experts' say will make me waver on this one after being in it on and off around 8 years I believe we have finally reached the edge of great things. Especially so now that gold price has been steadily moving up. Once the lemmings rumble how undervalued this price is plus arrival of the locusts on their pump and dump missions we should see the price breakout. The only bit missing in the puzzle is Ariana making greater efforts to publicise their achievements. In other words getting the shakers and movers rather than a small number of dedicated investors to take an interest. Time will tell but although I guess most of the effort is getting the gold / silver out there at todays favourable prices ($600 producing price) they can surely take on a few media hype types in addition to brokers to look after getting more on board. I know that we have some good exposure on the videos but there are a lot of potential investors living in their investor bubbles that need waking up to the potential of this share. .

TW positive ?, is this the same TW that I gave up reading a couple of years back? There are only 2 good things about TW they are is that he lambasts crooks, unfortunately often the good guys as well, and has said good things about AAU, at least taking your words for it. Personally I can't be a***d to wade through the usual inebriated bile that he comes up with.

saying it allowed for in the current SP doesn't wash. This SP will go places if only because this great news will bring it above the radar. It coincides with stability in the gold price (if there is such a thing) and at $600 an ounce production costs the cash will be rolling in. Not many companies transition from exploration to production as smoothly as this and with all the successful Red Rabbit and other discoveries of late we are also invested in the future. Plenty of scope to increase future throughput. Kerim reckons we should rise from 20k ozs using existing capacity to 50k in the future and that's a lot of cashflow to pay off outstanding loans for production facility contruction bill. May the gold price rise and we should stay above the radar because sentiment rules the markets. GLA
