But I am in here for the duration this time whereas I have been trading these on and off more than 8 years with little success but this time I really feel its a different scenario more like jam now instead of the usual 'jam tomorrow' GLA

First of many we hope my friend - sooner or later the market will sit up and take notice of just what this minnow is achieving. Stability is what we have here with plenty of potential upside in coming months.

and interviews and RNSs is the future prospect of regular (good?) newsflow on both production and exploration front through the good weather probably lasting up till late Ocober, when winter sets in up in the mountains. Also the plant is proving itself through this decent weather in the initial ramp up and will be operating well below capacity. Given a stable gold price and production increasing steadily cashflow will allow the company to go all out through these summer months on developing and exploring Tavsan and Salinbas.. This all makes for regular RNS updates and newsflow which can only be good for the share price in coming months.. And that my friends is what really counts if we are to make some money. Jeez I've waited long enough for this one to come good.

shares. ETFs and the metal for very many years, (POG was and is a particular disaster w confirmed in Peter Hambro ex-chairman's radio 4 interview this morning) and I have never seen such stability in the gold price as over the last four years. This bodes very well for this little operation in the near (and hopefully mid term) years and with such low production costs what can go wong ? (how many times have I heard but not said that !!!) The risks are mostly borne by Proccea (where's the catch?) anyway. Onward and upward say I GLA

the single most important aspect at the moment is a stable gold price. If Trumpy screws up big time & the $ drops, although of course costs are in US dollars, our cashflow underpinning the whole project could drop. A gold price of $800 - $900 could slow things up considerably and can't be completely dismissed because a few years back this was a realistic prospect. IMO I think a big fall in gold price is very unlikely and at $600 production costs we're still on the right side. Should it happen though the value of additional resources would then fall on the back of a falling gold price and if mining costs rise these assets depreciate very quickly. I believe that even without further exploration finds we are still on the right side so hope that the urgency is to get the initial throughput up very quickly to reach the 20000 ozs target ASAP. Anything else is a bonus. The old saying that cash is king is truer now than ever it has been for these small cap mining companies especially when you look at where the mining sector was a couple of years back and is only now slowly recovering. Unfortunately gold mining is lumped in with all the other mining operations even though it shouldn't be and if the sector falls again then we may also be affected. .

Good to see Kerim bubbling with enthusiasm especially on the longer term Hot Maden corridor prospect and with Kizzy production underway bringing in the cashflow everything is looking really encouraging. Presumably with the summer weather we should not only be able to look forward to a smooth production but also some pretty extensive prospecting both inside and outside the Kizzy concession. Despite some comments about weather not being that bad in the winter on this BB the weather is the key to getting things done in this part of the Europe. B****dy cold and high up with snow cover in the Salinbas prospect but should be dry and sunny and cool (high up) in the summer so exploration and plenty of newsflow should really get underway over the next 6 months. that's 3 months its stayed in the $1200's . If this stability continues (Trumpey is still doing his bit to keep it on track) our first quarter of production proper should look good. At production costs of $600 it looks a steal and what with underpinning of further Kizzy finds we should see the longterm prospects , mine life etc. good. Sentiment is great at the moment with everyone on the edge of their seats wondering what the crazy will do next, so better buy a bit of gold to keep under the bed, round her neck or in the vault.

and the perception is that the Flying Dutchman will be good for LGO so the share price should rise (for a time at least) Sentiment rules as usual, just hope the oil price holds for the time being while the Koot groupies chase the SP up.

on AIM in particular and the general market is driven by sentiment these days. I draw a comparison with VOG whilst not in gold but energy have gone through a similar process from explorer to producer and are only now coming good. Because of the short term nature of the market and modern life in general punters are only interested in instant success. Like Kerim Fooh their CEO went through all the abuse and criticism from armchair critics in the run up to production and initially afterwards. Personally if punters blame everyone than themselves for investing in this 'dog' then they should sell up and try elsewhere. There are plenty of con-merchants, mostly in the form of crooked nomads willing to persuade the naïve to part with their cash and OK you might make a quick buck but more likely in the long term you will lose your entire investment. I could mention a couple of questionable companies that took me in but won't. AAU without doubt is a paragon of virtue compared with them. Their shares rocketed, the truth came out and us suckers paid for the scam.

Same old same old from people who breeze in, sink a load of money into a share on the perceived promise of instant results and wealth and then blame everyone but themselves when their dreams are unrealised. Putting money in any speculative share particularly AIM where its generally perceived as a vehicle for raising money (though not so much in this case) is very risky especially down amongst the penny dreadfuls. Occasionally you come good in the short term make a fast buck and get out but more often than not its a long hard slog (as the development of Red Rabbit has been). I've been in and out of this for 8 years made a little, lost a little but am back in because I see this share potential is at long last reaching its peak. AAU have been at this business of making holes in the ground since 2005 and you are expecting instant rewards. You only have to look at the SP history to see nothing will happen instantly and anyway they've only just produced their first gold (after 12 long years). Just bite the bullet and hang in Northy like the rest of us and your patience will I'm sure be rewarded. And yes I have made big bucks instantly in gold shares in the past but more luck than judgement I would say but it would be very, very nice to repeat the experience with AAU. GLA

Great comment, certainly could do with some excitement in the SP something lacking ever since I first invested in 2009 ish - excitement is something this share price and I need (but am confident it will come right this year)

only question I would have that wasn't addressed was the political risks doing business in Turkey. Given Kerim's background IMO the risks are minimal and I am relaxed about it but would be nice to hear about that aspect from the 'horse's mouth' By the sound of things the Government is right behind AAU and backing them very actively by smoothing their progress with cash and tax incentives. I am convinced that Turkey is viewed as an unstable place to do business by many potential investors but from all my research that just is not the case so and any dramatic change to its country's economic stability is something that none of the powers in the region will not countenance. So in reality despite everything we read and hear in the media it is a stable part of Europe even though I would not relish living under the regime myself. Thanks for posting the video Paul

Thanks MB Clear view from the top of the RR and potential of Sanibas etc. Its such a pity with so much solid progress, finance support and a production cost half the GP that this company just isn't on the radar. Maybe with all the likely news in the next few months the situation may improve and we'll see a rise in SP but at the moment despite not putting a foot wrong ( a major achievement for a gold E/P company) I guess we just sit tight.

That's what happens when Trumpy keeps his trap shut for a couple of days, go on Trumpy say something warlike to get it back up for a week or so.

Van Van - Having spent so many years in and out of this one I can only reach the conclusion that politics and Syrian border are the main root causes of the undervaluation. What connection this has with the success or otherwise of the company I cannot fathom as IMO no matter what happens inside or outside of the country Turkey will remain a good place to do business. It is not strictly European or any other bloc and because of this will always exert a powerful influence on Africa, Europe, US and the Middle East. So it is in every country's interest to keep the area stable but this doesn't seem to be the way potential investors perceive things. Our main hope is that the potential of the company will outweigh the political considerations and that is down to Kerim and getting the word out to institutions. My only reservations are that this could mean consolidation as major investment institutions don't really like penny shares because of the baggage that comes with them. Consolidation could help us establish 'respectability' amongst such organisations as like it or not the worst excesses of AIM and the lack of FCA control over some of the excesses of the unscrupulous few has tarnished most of AIM. But I live in hope and am certain that we have finally turned the corner. I take VOG as a good example of how a company's fortunes can change once its shaken off its 'penny dreadful' status.
