How can that be a safe haven, I have never seen so much rubbish written about bitcoin. Ok try anything to make money but at least gold is something you can touch and feel and that's what most of the world want in troubled times. I can't see people wearing bitcoins round their necks and wrists as a depository for family savings. Pull the other one. Am I right in thinking that gold equivalent price is generally only marginally above the real gold price because silver mined fetches a lot less. Similarly are quoted production costs spread over the two income streams because the quoted production costs are based on gold equivalent income? I find it difficult to get my head around this gold equivalent figure as I would have thought that the processes to get the metal would be a lot different. Any comments ? I guess that the reality is that the gold produced is by far the most important aspect of the mine and the silver is a minor factor in profitability.

Everything is bang on target even exceeding in some cases. Considering how few operations make it through without any major teething problems this result is good by any standards. So why is the share price continuing to languish. Perhaps time will tell but I think not. Surely the SP should reflect the future not the past and as long as silver and gold prices continue the with all other things being equal this should soon become a profitable operation. Everything is going for the company even the ease of marketing the gold at good prices. Surely that alone counts for a lot especially when you look at other global operations where getting the stuff out of the ground and produced is easier in many ways than transporting it and marketing it. Sounds a doddle at Kiziltepe. One of the many pluses that Ariana has going for it. Its just a pity it is not being recognised.

Wake me up if something happens ! We really need someone to promote AAU better than the case iin the past. Such and undervalued share. We all know the pluses of this one and the almost insignificant downside. Why doesn't the market know?

Thanks for the ling n3m. The ref. you quote is something that has been going on for some time now but don't forget the other giant also desperate to build up their stocks is of course India. With all the global uncertainty and Trumpy all the Far East will be looking to holding gold for their future currency stability.

Apart from the Hot Maden , Salinbas exploration and Kiziltepe production all looking good till the wet cold snowy weather moves in late Oct. I guess that could hold off for a few additional weeks but extremely unlikely. The gold price and the ease with which production is sold directly onto the market in Turkey intrigues me (perhaps under the counter gold sales on in the background especially with all the wars going on around Turkey!) . Particularly the bit about getting above the spot market in some cases. Cashflow is important at this critical time if we are to avoid dilution and cash calls. No questions were asked about that aspect unfortunately. All in all a pretty reassuring broadcast

Unfortunately it can be construed as cashing in on misery but that's the reality. The days when the illustrious Chancellor Gordon Brown sold off our gold at rock bottom prices because the US dollar was taking gold's role as a haven in times of uncertainty have long gone. The vast majority of the world still regard gold as the only safe currency in times of uncertainty despite the politicians trying to make it otherwise. I was in and out of MARL for years and gave up on them as they seemed to be exploring, using up shed loads of money with little to show for it. Gold price is the key to sp success. Its just a matter of time before goldies are back in the limelight bigtme (especially given the Asian dimension). Unfortunately in todays social networking and the cult of celebrity and famous for being famous the AIM market is driven by pure sentiment and 'pump and dump' That is of course assuming in this era of 'fake news' that we are being fed indisputable facts. IMO we may well see the gold price through the $1500 barrier very soon then maybe the spotlight will fall on us. You only have to look at recent UKOG performance to see how the media rather than concrete facts take over investor sentiment

Is pretty much back up to the levels of a year ago. This has to be a big plus for the share. Assuming everything is as we've been told our problem is attracting more punters and institutional buying but that isn't going to happen until we get on the radar. Maybe even consolidation but imo that wouldbe a retrograde step.I don't know what the answers are and hope the BOD have solutions to this conundrum of the SP not reflecting the progress and potential of tbe company.
