it doesn't work like that what the MMs practice is a black art, UK is about the only exchange in the world where the MMs decide the price not supply and demand like other exchanges. I call them Market Manipulators and that's all there is to it.

Lots of nice words and many 'robusts' in the many conclusions. Doesn 't add or take away much to a punter like me as most of it is over my head. It would be interesting to see 'independent' comments from those who might know a lot more about it than me but I guess there just need to more drills. The experts can never get enough information. The report certainly hasn't dissuaded me from believing that the geology of the productive N.Sea has to continue through to the Isle of Wight and a history of wildcat drilling off the IOW and in the English Channel during the days of high oil prices in the 70's and 80's using poorly developed technology of the time. The very terms Portand and Kimmeridge to me is synonomous with oil discoveries in the North Sea which are still going 'relatively' strong but declining. The UK governments must be desperate by now to replace the shortfall of taxes from N.Sea oil and gas even if it is under the toffs expensive real estate. IMO energy exploration will continue unabated and UKOG are well placed to get all the permissions they need for future drilling. Just hope we can raise enough to sustain these very expensive operations.

is that the gold price is showing incredible resilience and as long as Trumpiy keeps stirring we are getting a good price for our gold and whatever other company plans and developments materialise this is the single most important factor right now. If we can depend on this stable gold price continuing further development of Kiziltepe is backed by solid cash and that is no mean feat in today's uncertain global economy.

Well someone has to pay Potty's wages and a question of making hay while the sun shines (on BPC) and I don't blame him one bit. But then I have always been pretty cynical about this one mainly since Alan Burn's demise and the downturn in oil prices. Now with some stability in the oil market it is certainly worth a punt but I certainly won't be 'betting the farm' given the politics of the BG and prevarication and delay being a way of life in the Caribbean (or strictly the Atlantic) islands.
