chartist theory is always a black art. IME it only seems to work on rising (AIM) markets. Zaks predictions haven't been particularly reliable in in the past few years.Probably as reliable as looking at sheeps entrails to predict future SPs. He does tend to highlight breakout prices all the time many of which never seem to materialise except after the event has long passed.
But maybe it will be different this time so his magic number seems to be 1.5p.

I meant of course in the case of offshore field the seawater is underneath or in many cases in the N.Sea the water (or gas) injection comes from beneath the seabed but onshore fields IMO etc

Yes Philipy wwith offshore fields the seawater is underneath onshore fields IMO a lot more sensible to be drilling for water close by and presumably there should be plenty if you can find it and many of the existing wells being redrilled would make it cheaper anyway if you hit the 'white stuff' and use that for water injection. All in all what is transformational to me (a very overused term) is the new management team who seem to have a plan rather than the scatter gun quick buck approach of NR and company.

Perhaps if they can find a few more every week then we should get the SP back to the pre-Newmont fiasco of January - I don't think they will be in on it or if they are it should be at a price!

Inclined to agree after all money is made from 'add-ons' , maintenance and further development and the like not on initial work. Always has been the case with follow on work being the money spinner.

UKOG will be the go-go share, my bet is on this coming week then eclipsed as before or till we get stupendous news (or not) then a few months of lethargy, as before.

IME is usually a bad thing for the SP but in this bullish AIM market it may be good for us. Just an opinion as I have experienced a lot of consolidations in my time amongst the penny dreadfuls and most of them have been disastrous. Perhaps this one will be different.
