Maybe the directors should assess whether or not the SP would be affected before issuing (as if they could). We live in an age of transparency.
Yet still there are many AIM companies' boards managing to pull the wool over investors' eyes by not disclosing or publishing some of their own heavily disguised interests, personal or otherwise. There are still plenty of loopholes.
I'd rather it was this way every time i.e. over disclosure.

Graphs are a black art, all this candlestick and teacup handle nonsense IME is useless. I have followed them over many many years and their predictions never seem successful. The only cases I have found where they are successful is in rising AIM markets something which hasn't occurred for many years. My basic graph interpretation that I use is if a share rises too quickly it spikes and rarely gets back to those levels but if it rises steadily there is a period of consolidation when the SP drops back fairly dramatically but the inertia then wins through and it continues rising. This is of course based purely on the graph and ignores the reality of the company's performance or outlook. Seems to work quite often and I suppose follows some sort of logical investor pattern where everyone jumps on the bandwagon then there is a period of profit taking before it rises again. That's the only one that seems to work for me and then only in a rising AIM market which we are not experiencing certainly in the oil and mining sector which is where my interests lie.

or big losses. Oil exploration companies burn money and there is no certainty about the outcome of any test drill so whats the beef? If you don't like it why invest in such high risk stocks especially on AIM ? I have lost count of the number of oil and mining shares that I have invested in that have gone t*ts up. Having worked in the industry I can assure you all its only Big Oil that can sustain poor drill results or worse still dry holes. Anyway they usually leave that up to the 'wildcat' drillers and move in only when fields are proven. That's what smaller companies like Angus and UKOG and recently UJO dream of and how they will make their fortunes, its as simple as that. Dave Bramhill UJO has been at it for years and is a realist and says 'he doesn't know/ who knows? !!' in answer to most questions. That's the nature of drilling holes in the ground looking for dreams and thats probably why he looks somewhat knackered.

Simple00 - :Locked up? AIM is just about the most freewheeling scam laden market in the UK - don't believe anything there are so many hidden agendas in this company's operation its difficult to tell fact from fiction. All I know is that the Slovenians are intent on getting their hands on 'their' gas. Wish I had never heard of the company and that's going right back to the days of Jeremy Eng who promised everything and delivered very little except more placings.

Just shows all the hazards and pitfalls of investing in mining. You just never know what obstacles can get in the way of plans. Fortunately for them its turned out OK but just wonder what goes on in the background to get these projects through ! AAU seem to be free of these potential problems I reckon its something to do with KS connections with the country which must help hugely to smooth the path for the company.

Biggest jump I've seen in years and I have been investing on and off since they started. Never a favourite for the pumpers and dumpers in the past but maybe its been targeted on this occasion. I've been out of this for about a year now but best of luck to you all. Maybe just maybe the company is at long last getting the recognition it deserves for being such a well run outfit (inc Procea) which meets their targets unlike most of the many penny dreadfuls on AIM these days.

For a dyed in the wool cynic in oil/gas expro its good to hear such realism coming from DB. No matter what he has said the hype surrounding this has to be on a par with HH and look where that went (short term) even with the naysayers trolling in the background.

No-one knows anything for sure at this very early stage but maybe hype surrounding this find should send the SP soaring. IME it usually does, especially given the shaky political backgound of Hormuz and all the other over hyped rubbish going on in the world. Why let facts get in the way of a good story I say.

That's correct 2-3 or more times HH-1 - its' all come good as predicted so far so chances are the predictions are good or even conservative. Thats real cashlow so lets not lose sight of the reality of HH-1

b****er all positive SP movements, its a strange world down among the penny dreadfuls of AIM - prudently limiting production, too many wells have been wrecked by over producing in the past - at least we have a company in it for the long term willing to sacrifice a few BOPD rather than please the punters purely in this for the short term gains.
