Just hope these interims are recognised for what they are. Cluff is now a 100,000 producer, making money, not an explorer coming up with overhyped resource figures.

100,000 ozs , flagship Baomahun anticipated mining costs $500, Kalsaka annualised rate of 80,000oz the increased rate being 50% over 2009, Angovia expected to improve further. Cluff need no longer keep a low profile for fear of takeover, they are now the coveted 100,000 producer that they set out to become. New website as well !

IMO the panic, uncertainty about political situation and the mining tax in Australia might be driving this one as well as tge good outlook because AGLD min is outside its jurisdiction.

Assured US$35 million development funding loan, no hedging. Good news all round. Just at the right time. This should help the Gold Ridge development on to its feet. At least if the US dollar continues to fall $ gold price will rise anyway and the Australian dollar unlikely to take off either given the recent political turmoil. Although not a huge sum its a vote of confidence from IFC in the company especially in this era of tight money and 'apparently' with no strings attached which is good. Quarterlies should be good and I look forward to the announcement next month.

AGLD must be about due to give us some resource / drilling updates or general progress reports as there seems to be so much going on. There is always a pretty steady flow of news from this company.

WIly old Algy Cluff went through this before in 1995 and on that occasion 'much to his annoyance' lost. I think we will all see steady gains but you won't hear much about it until it happens as the company never seems to give very much info, least of all the SIs in UK. Whether or not they'll see off any future attempt remains to be seen of course.

Does anyone know why the gold price fall today was because of the Greek crisis. It doesn't make sense. My only explanation is that its lumped in with miners which it shouldn't be. I am glad to see it has recovered again probably because the implications of a financial crisis within the eurozone can only mean gold makes a better investment.
