In my opinion, whether any particular variant is more or less ‘toxic’ than its predecessor isn’t actually the primary issue! … the primary issue is every variant is a stepping stone to the next so it’s the mechanism of progression which needs disrupting not the individual ‘stones’ themselves …

Which part of the virus would you target ? I guess if there were any other immunological virus entities that were more stable variant to variant then they would be better but I’m not aware of such targets ?

Hi , yes.. although the N protein does mutate but at not as high a frequency .. this crucially will give vaccine designers more time to keep up with the virus and stay one step ahead instead of one step behind !
