Morning .. it’s an interesting one .. with such a nice steady pattern .. almost predictable .. of 50,000 sells .. one wonders why the share price hasn’t tanked ?? …. And that poses another question .. where are they going ??
All very quiet at scancell at this most exciting of times ??
That was an interesting few hours for scancell … well, if Lindy is as good at steering the ship as she has been at building it then the future is an exciting one !
Nice early start this morning .. the early bird catches the worm lol !!
TF .. agree ! The scientific community is on the hunt for better solutions … this article is well written but the authors can’t have come across Nottingham’s ‘solution’ as yet … but an interesting read all the same!
That they haven’t done any deals on their technology to date isn’t necessarily a bad thing for shareholders at all … imagine the value of say just immunobody should Covidity be successful underpinned by the great scib1 phase 1/2 data we already have … wouldn’t like to even take a guess at that !
Morning.. I’ve had the South Africa trial in the back of my mind since it was announced and something else just occurred to me …
Should the phase 1 trial be successful does it not also prove that global distribution won’t be a barrier ..
I’m guessing Covidity will be manufactured in Keele (or Sweden) and transported to South Africa … not a bad demonstration of transportability / stability as part of the initial ‘test’ !?
Depending on delivery method, this may need to go with it too I guess, or maybe the site in South Africa has this ability already ?
Fascinating development … only talking thoughts but as an organisation like CEPI are focussed solely on pandemic solutions rather than Cancer solutions does it make sense for scancell to separate its technology arms so it’s easier for them to focus their future dealings depending on what’s being dealt ?
Only used Cepi as an example .. not saying they are involved ..
Yes, big game for us both … best of luck and as we complete on our Brixham home a week tomorrow I’m just a little disappointed we won’t be meeting each other next year in the league !
But yes, (big) if Hartlepool win … then it’ll be another year in a relegation battle next season ! Lol ..
.. Twitter just notified me 20 mins ago but yes .. looks like it’s from yesterday on a closer inspection ! Maybe I’m a long way down their notification list lol !
So if Mabs have such high value .. what value scancell’s Avidimab !??
“ When Scancell’s anti-glycan mouse mAbs were humanised for clinical use they lost their ability to kill tumour cells directly. Scancell has now patent protected a technology platform (AvidiMab™) which increases the avidity of human antibodies by promoting non-covalent Fc-Fc interactions. This modification reinstates the direct tumour cell killing ability of the anti-glycan humanised mAbs but could also be used to increase the potency of any human mAb and is available for licensing.”
